Don't want the final realization that there's no hope to ruin your Christmas, eh? I can appreciate that. Might have to eat that ham with a little sand in your mouth this year but I hear ya.

Next years post games are going to be interesting. We've already bought the car, claimed lemon and lost in court.

I expect something like this:
"Maybe with a little prep it would've been a better game, but that would've been asking the kids for too much. We spent the week in the keys, beach volleyball and ice cream socials. Whatcha gunna do about it?!"
