I really see the FSU game as about even except for one portion of the game...FSU IS FAR SUPERIOR WITH THEIR SPECIAL TEAMS...Hope Big Al has been harping on our kickoff coverage which is almost sickening compared to the rest of college football...Coupled with Mario Edwards back in the line-up I see these two area's as the major hurdles for our victory....Thoughts...

FSU has a great kicker obviously but they're really not that good in any other aspect.

rashad greene is an okay punt returner and kermit has actually been kinda bad this year, he's only averaging 20 yards a return.

we have a better punter, that's about it, and we've had some leaks in kick return this year so even though kermit just hasn't been good returning kicks i can see the concern there. but i don't think the split is as pronounced as some others.

the kicker thing is legit though -- does *anyone* feel comfortable with the idea of badgley kicking a game winning or game tying FG in this game? cuz i don't.
 
As rayray mentioned, I'd say we have a very good punter (not sure about F$U's so can't say if we're "better" or not). So that's something.

a badgeley line driver to the goalline or shorter is big trouble for Miami, I also expect Jimbo to have tricks up his sleeve, Miami better be on alert i.e. onside kicks and fake punts
 
We are #5 in the nation in net punting. Vogel has been terrific. I would suspect we've shored up our kick coverage and we'll play our 11 best. BTW, FSU is #104 in kick return. We're #52. Aguayo is unbelievable. They are downplaying the fact he's been held out of practice the last two days. Badgley is 7 for 8. His only miss was from 52 yards. So the question is will we see Duke on Saturday returning kick offs? If we plan on running him 35 times then I say no. My gut tells me yes.

I kick coverage as been bad because when we dont get a good kick off, it has **** near no hang time which doesn't allow our guys to get into their lanes thus making it more difficult to stop the return. When we get a good kick, the coverage as been decent.
