It's a start... Perry and Weldon get reps with the 1s (today's practice)

And Jarren Williams got zero. Clearly being held out from competing at this poi t

He's a true freshman. I don't believe for a minute that N'Kosi Perry or Cade Weldon don't know the playbook, but with a true freshman, that might legitimately be the case.

The offensive staff is awful , especially the one stealing money

No, the QB and OL coaches are terrible along with Richt's play calling.

Brown and Dugans are top tier position coaches IMO. Good coaches and excellent recruiters.

It Searels and Richt jr. who is stealing money. Not recruiting a QB? You kidding me? and Our center said we weren't prepared for what LSU did this game.

It's all a facade. Richt will start Rosier, one or both backupps will get a couple series.
Richt is a former QB remember. Guess he's all sensitive about QBs feeling all butthurt

Why am I not surprised? Rosier played 95% of the game against Bethune Cookman last year. Wouldn't be shocked if he played the same against Savannah St., blowout or not.

I'm as anxious for a QB change as I was for Golden to get fired.

NOT acceptable, I understand 1 rep for Rosier, with 2 to the other two QBs and maybe one rep for Williams.

At this point what improvements can we expect of Rosier by taking first team reps? Next 3 games are about a new QB not repeating over and over an attempt to make Rosier into what he cannot be.

Just a guess, but it probably has to do with team unity more than anything. Richt has to be careful not to lose the seniors, that's what I'm thinking.

As long as Perry and Weldon are getting in with the 1's, and they're playing with the 1's on Saturday, I'm good.

One of them will win the starting job because in the end, Rosier is who he is. Those two will play better than Rosier on Saturday, and that will be the end of it.

He is being redshirted as they know he is the future . He knows he is the future as well. But he doesn't know the playbook at all. I fully expect him to be a starter here for 2-3 years .

I think the facade is putting Rosier in... he has to do that just to keep the team unified. As long as he's giving Perry and Weldon a legit chance to win the starting job (getting them reps with the 1's in live game situations), it will play itself out.

The best man will win, and that man will not be Malik Rosier.

Mark Richt isn't stupid. He knows what's up.

**** Wish it was 3 Rosier 2 Perry. Means Richt still doesn't trust Perry enough.

Williams will head to FSU or UF and come back and haunt our *** with how we are treating this kid.
Perhaps. Nevertheless I think Williams will transfer after the season. Especially if Rosier performs badly in staunch conference games in the early part of the schedule, and he doesn't see any SIGNIFICANT playing time during pressure time. hUh.

He won't lose the seniors if one of these young guns steps in and lights it up! Give them a shot...1 series is not sending the right message that this job is open.

It's sadass Savannah State. They should alternate days of getting reps. Reps isn't going to solve Rosier's issues. I'm not even convinced if we had Mayfield from OU last year that it would've mattered. The problem is deeper than QB talent, it's a problem with Richt and his archaic scheme as well as the playcalling itself. There are other issues, players arent perfect, but I would put more of it on the coaches for sure.

What hes hoping for is that Malik can use these next "gimmie" games as confidence boosters. Malik runs off confidence. Hes like a streaky shooter. When hes on hes on, when hes off its a **** show. Hes really off right now and might need a confidence boost which I am sure Richt is banking on.

Exactly. Seems like that is what is happening.

I was hoping to see that Perry (or Weldon) would get reps with the 1's in today's practice. That, to me, was the clear cut sign that a change is in the works. It happened.

Now, I need to see them with the 1's in live action.

If they were getting reps with the 2's, then you would be safe to assume that Richt had chosen to ride with Rosier come **** or high water. But that isn't what's happening. Reps with the 1's is exactly what you want to see. We're good.

If it’s the playbook we run on gameday, I think the coaches would even admit it’s not exactly brimming with complexity or volume. The playbook is the excuse for not playing younger guys without experience; while simultaneously the older guy with experience is the excuse for not expanding the playbook on gameday.

Interesting stuff.

Williams gonna transfer and fk up QB depth for years to come if Richt keeps ****ing him around.

We only run 4-5 plays. How long does it take to learn? Put Williams in and let’s go!

Haha come on man, it's more than 4-5 plays. I hear you though. For me, just put in anyone who isn't Rosier and I'm good.

Personally, I thought Perry was our best QB at the Spring Game, so that's where my head is at. But may the best man win.
