Pagano coached special teams and defensive backs at the U back when we had the best special teams and defensive backfield in the country

Who did he coach under?

I'm OK with Pagano or Schiano. However, Pagano has never been a head coach at a college program and that's a learning experience in itself. As far as Butch, I just see him as over the hill and well beyond his prime.

No no no guys college coaches can never be over their prime. Thats why Bobby Bowden just won the BCS last year and Frank Beamer is facing Steve Spurrier in the Orange Bowl this January.

It just makes too much sense and aligns perfectly with the university's vision to be seen as a healthcare giant
