most of these players are grown men. do you really think that reading a bulletin board or a coach talk is going to motivate you.. does your boss pep you up in the morning when you go to work.???

Funny thing is you wouldn't be talking about play calling if Malik hits our wide open speed WRs in strid for 6. We wouldn't be talking about special teams if malik hits on his 3rd down throws. We wouldn't be talking about our gassed defense finally wilting if we could play with a lead and rest on the sideline while it's our offense extending drives. You realize how many 3 and outs we had to start the 2nd half?
 
There were so many reasons why we lost, it was a team effort along with the coaches, truthfully our luck ran out, Bandy catches the pass its a 14 point swing, all year those plays have gone our way.
 
It wasn't all Malik but when your leader doesn't show up with a potential National Championship on the line, everything else is a distant second place. Malik wasn't ready to play and the team couldn't bail him out this time.
 
play-calling and motivation look a lot better when you have a QB that can complete open passes...

Wrong, Malik was making the correct reads, but just throwing every single ball off target. Jeff Thomas and AR15 were open deep all game.

If we're being honest, this team has been living dangerously all year. Finally caught up with them. Offense has basically sucked for weeks but we were always able to make a play or two to salvage it. That didn't happen today. Combine that with the worst punting performance I've ever seen and you get what you got today. Pitts average starting field position had to be their own 35.
 
One thing I don't understand with this offense is that, we use no shifts and no motion what so ever... U have to give the defense more to think about...
 
We only did it in the first qtr against ND. If CMR doesn't break it out next Saturday I will lose a lot of confidence in his ability to call plays for us going forward. Has to be done
 
Don't agree. The team showed up enough today to easily win this game if Rosier just plays ok and hits open receivers. His play today was atrocious. They took away our run and said beat us and he stunk it up. Oline wasn't good but they did enough. Defense was ok but they did enough. A lot of the team played ok or not great but Rosier was the one guy who was truly awful. This loss is on him.

The fact that our RB had 16 car for 10 yds equals the loss is Maliks alone.

QB have bad days and when they do, you need some sort of life from the ground game to help.

Our Defense gave up 24 points and almost 400 yards to a lousy PITT Team.

Your really smart bro...how about the offense went 3 and out like 7 times and our punter kids the ball 30 yards. No way this is on the defense...we had given up 10 points in the middle of the 3rd.

Effort: don't know what it is about Miami, but it looks like we have zero effort and pride. Do these kids realize what they could play for?

As bad as we've played we still could be really special. I think that's why everyone including myself is ****ed. We are not a great team, but if the offense and special teams could contribute-- we'd roll teams.

Fair enough but I think the defense "staring to crumble" is a bit much. The defense played well enough to win today.
