I love the noodz just as much as the next guy, but I'm definitely all about the SFW avatars. Like some others I can't read the forum sometimes because my 5 year old doesn't need to see some ****ies bouncing. Keeping the NSFW in the WEZ (and clearly identified) would just make a fantastic new Cane gathering place all that much better. That way I could check the football board at work without setting off the IT alarms.

If you don't want to turn off avatars, you can block individual avatars with the addblock plugin for fire fox. Once you install the plugin, all you have to do is r click on any image, click on "block image", and it will block it in the future.

The turn off avatars and sigs are nice to have but then you lose them all.

Why not just say be SFW WRT to avatars and sigs? Clearly label NSFW threads and then all should be ok.
