Yeah. Yeah, Yeah. I know. We played a vastly inferior opponent. They all do. Baga. UGA. Clempson (2-2 LMAO!). Taint. But it was a lot of fun seeing the young guys get on the field. Regardless of the coaching situation, it was important for the youngin’s to get some real game time experience. They did what they were supposed to do - blow out an inferior opponent and have fun doing it. That’s a major reason we play the game - to have fun - and winning makes it that much more so.


TVD had his 1st TD pass + 2
Garcia had his 1st TD pass + 2
All of the 3 Amigos caught their 1st TD’s and Jacolby’s was undoubtedly one for the highlight reel
Brown looked good and got his 1st TD +1
Thad looked good and got his 1st TD
Williams had a pick and 3 tackles
LT had 3 tackles including a TFL
Roberts had 3 tackles

Whatever happens the rest of the season going forward, yesterday was a lot of fun for the young guys and for me.

Maybe that’s on the players. Didn’t the canes of old spend extra hours working after practice? Do current Canes do the same?

@423Hurricane I had fun too. No shame in that. All we can do is watch. At least the rest of my Saturday wasn't tainted with the baggage of a loss. It was a wild day of college football. A win against Sacrificial Lamb State just added to the enjoyment.
 
It was a peak into why a new staff can get this program back to where we all want it sooner if we are willing to pay the money. Manny can’t develop and it’s a matter of time before this goes off the rails. He may even squeak some ACC wins out in an incredible down year.
