It really was 1 glaring problem.

When you have a coach that never played the game this is the byproduct.

Yes, there are some coaches that didn’t play but they grew up around/in the game since childhood. It’s in the blood

Manny, “decided” he wanted to be a coach in his 20s. In fact, he didn’t even know he wanted to coach until Sterling sharpe suggested it to him after watching him break down videos at ESPN. He was a fan, that’s it. His dad wasn’t a football coach or he wasn’t at home drawing up plays. He’s no leader and he doesn’t have football DNA. He was like me…watching games as a **** fan.

i know some of you Don’t think any of that is an issue but it is.

And you can already see how it played out. FSU is a state school snd his father was the mayor of the largest city in the state. His dad asked for a favor and got him the GA position, even though he knew nothing about the game, because you can have that kind of sway at a state school as a politician

If they had a seasoned QB, they would have hung 60 on us... in the first half.

Pretty much every play had wide open recievers down the field.

Untill Miami really gets a coach, that knows a hit again. Or something..

I have Literally a best friend.. That is almost 50. Still played running back for the Seattle semi pro team. Injured last year, but ready to go again.

Don't tell that to Saban or Bellichek.

Neither played at any serious level.

The bad tackling is just another symptom of UM being overwhelmed in these big games… Manny doesn’t get them ready to compete… either with a solid game plan or mentally.
 
The glaring weakness I saw was that we had to many florida kids. When will we even win the acc. So far were the ugly stepsister.

I saw several problems. No QB pressure (even with those stupid blitzes) and our DB’s were never near Bama receivers.

No it wasn’t. Miami doesn’t have the talent. Bama was double our size. We had good form on our 1 v 1’s but they ran threw us because they were bigger than us. It doesn’t matter how good your technique is. If he was a 5’10 170 pound CB trying to tackle a 6’1 220 pound RB. You’re gonna lose 9 out of 10 times.

Our 5’10 OLB that should be a box safety was put on a 6’4 TE. We’re literally playing dudes out of position.
 
Our tackling has been a joke since 2005. At least there’s not a parade of flags like they’re typically is in these games
