We can’t claim that any post season bowl aside from the CFP doesn’t matter and then rag on a conference about it lol
The other bowls do matter. Not for the championship, but they do matter. Every year these teams are ranked high simply because they are in the SEC. Then they play each other and get quality wins and losses.......Then they play other teams from "inferior" conferences and lose or look worse winning than they do when they play each other. Dont trust what the media and talking heads say, what do you SEE when you watch these games.

Of course they still have good players. But it seems like these other teams are starting to have more and more of the good players that used to saturate the SEC.

Tbh, non-CFP playoff bowls are meaningless. I would love to shove it down the throats of the preseason champ SEC, but it all depends on who plays these days with so many sitting out. These games are ridiculous. Glad we finally got an opportunity to really play something meaningful after the regular season ended this year.

And that won’t change. The SEC will continue to be ranked with bias by the AP poll because of ESPN being the puppet master behind it all (CFP)

Do you think the SEC going 2-5 in bowl games is going to change teams like Missouri from being ranked next year?
I don’t.
