It isn't Josh Moore vs Dalyn Upshaw it's Josh Moore AND Dalyn Upshaw.

I know a lot of people have essentially picked a side between which WR they want to be WR3 between Moore and Upshaw but in reality both will get their fair share of targets. When you look back at the 24 Offense 5 players had 35+ catches between X , Jacolby , Horton , Sammy Brown , & Arroyo. the same will happen this year and with the lack of talent/ inexperience at TE & the abundance of talent at WR we could see 6 WRs get a good amount of targets. I think depending on the matchup is who determines who will be the WR3 that game. No other team in CFB has a WR group as deep as ours and that's a blessing from where we've been in the past.
 
If this is not a sign of how far we've come in roster depth, I'm not sure what is. Complaining about the forecasted WR3.

This time last year it was all Jojo WR1 talk. He ended up with 13 catches for 178yds (despite TeamTouch) the whole year and we went to the natty. Calm down
 
Lofton will targets. Pringle will get targets. Mali and Barkate will get touches. I can see 1 or 2 more getting real targets. Others will play and get touched in blowouts, but realistically only our WR3 and MAYBE 4 will be getting targets in big games. I think it will be somewhat even: Moore will get targets in redzone + Fades/Deep balls (situations he can use his height to his advantage). Upshaw in crossing routs + screens (mainly getting the ball in his hands in an open field and letting him go). Idk much about Jacobs, and I know Wingo will be a stud, but unless those 2 legitimately pass up Moore and Upshaw, I find it hard to imagine them getting much action in real games.
