it is not going to get any easier

make a few staff changes, turn over some roster, another year of recruiting, player development

2023 can be (notice no prediction) a 9-10 win season. Nothing on that schedule screams "oh jesus thats at least 3 losses"

I didnt see one team on our schedule this year where I thought next year they'd be a monster. A&M would be a likely candidate in most cases but I think they have way bigger problems than us. FSU offense could be good but you saw vs good teams this year for stretches they did very little and their defense needs to kill it in the portal again. Clemson is clemson.
Haha . . . don't do this to yourself already.

At least wait until August.

/My win prediction total will change from 3 now to 14-0 come August.

Every year I review next year's schedule and think of how much fun it would be to travel to a couple spots and then the season starts and the thought vanishes quite quickly.
Since I moved from S. FL years ago I would routinely travel back home for a game or go to one of the big away games. I got tired of wasting money to see us get embarrassed, quit that tradition.

The way we played this year, our schedule doesn't matter. Any FBS team could beat us.

We either upgrade big time in talent and coaching or we're a perennial 7-5 team like we've been the last 2 decades.

Same. And it sucks because I'd like to visit some of those mid-Atlantic states. @NC and @NCST would be games I'd be interested in. I flew in to Raleigh for the ACCCG and enjoyed my brief stay. I'd also love to go to BC. Boston is a cool city.

I'd also love to go to ND in 2024 if we don't suck.
