That 2023 season will be here before we know it, and those other problems @Samson Doyo talks about? Not a lot of time to fix in time for that 2023. That schedule looks menacing. The last five especially.

I'm not trying to start ****, but isn't this the equivalent of burying your head somewhere? We need to fix all our internal problems, players and coaches need to be on the same page. Players should want to play for each other not themselves and a contract. The staff needs team building just as much as the players. If I misunderstood what you were saying I apologize in advance.

Go Canes!

No I am agreeing with you! What I am saying is that Mario’s next moves, the ones you say are needed, are extremely important and he doesn’t have a lot of time. If he doesn’t get the major ones fixed, the schedules do not set up in a way as to where deficient football can be masked with an easy schedule. If we don’t get these MAJOR issues corrected quickly, the wheels could come completely off.

I would like to come down for the Texas A n M game next September, bring my wife she has never been to a game. Hopefully I am allowed to.

Our opponents are the least of our problems these days. It's unfortunate, but it's the truth—my $0.02.

Go Canes!
We need to get our **** together then worry about everything else fellas. Perfect example is LSU, I live in Louisiana and most people didn’t see a 9-3 regular season but they over performed this year, especially beating Alabama. Why can’t we do the same with the right hires and transfers. To get where we want to be we will have to overcome good team. Let’s not act like our current team will always be our team. Things will change

Agreed and most of us are here, hitting refresh awaiting with great passion and intensity for the season of change to commence

It’s going to come down to the type of OC Mario hires,.

Look at the quick turnarounds at other places.. a lot of the reasons they were successful this season was do to an offense that could move the ball and score..

If Mario wants to keeps that beat folks up at the LOS and milk the clock type of offense.. it’s going to take at minimum 2-3 years to get all those type guys in to truly be successful.

Every year I review next year's schedule and think of how much fun it would be to travel to a couple spots and then the season starts and the thought vanishes quite quickly.
I planned on 3 games this year. After mtsu i was like **** that ****.

Not wasting my money on trash.

Mario better hire a badass OC or we about to lose 5 games a year the next 2 and by then everyone in miami will hate him.

Well ruiz will still love him.

For a legit "Miami" team ... the schedules are perfect to go 12-0 each season. But then we haven't seen a legit Miami team virtually since we joined the lowly ACC. Can Mario pull it together? After the train wreck that was this season?

make a few staff changes, turn over some roster, another year of recruiting, player development

2023 can be (notice no prediction) a 9-10 win season. Nothing on that schedule screams "oh jesus thats at least 3 losses"

I didnt see one team on our schedule this year where I thought next year they'd be a monster. A&M would be a likely candidate in most cases but I think they have way bigger problems than us. FSU offense could be good but you saw vs good teams this year for stretches they did very little and their defense needs to kill it in the portal again. Clemson is clemson.

The gap can be closed quick (thats what she said)...
