It has to be Jacurri Time

Start Emory but have a few packages for Jacurri (like 4th and I...). Have 3-5 pass plays for Jacurri that he practices non stop all week and nothing more to keep the D honest. Not complicated but Mario/Dawson would rather run against 10 man fronts so wont happen

It’s a process and when it all comes together and becomes a finished product with the QB position not being a glaring deficiency then that physicality mindset will be appreciated. You just can’t see it right now because we don’t have the main horse ready or needed to efficiently do what the staff has pictured things to look 👀.
 
Play the kid or loose him. Someone with that type of raw talent needs a chance. We don’t see the day to day with him or practice so we don’t know all the details of his problems or progress. Maybe there is great progress and the staff is actually in love with him and waiting to unleash in 24 ? As a Hurricane fan wound hate to see that kid leave and explode elsewhere. As big a fan as any of the classic drop back passer but understand it’s 2023 and those days, for now, are over. QBs in the modern game, need to athletic.

I would go with TVD one more week and just take the L. Feed him to the wolves and then start Emory against Louisville, BC and the bowl game. Throw in Jacqurri to mix it up with the running game. We might even win a couple of those games......maybe but we can't just keep throwing a guy who should be in the ER room out there to throw the ball for the rest of the season. Honestly, we should go with Emory against FSU but its not ideal to throw a true freshman first road game in the 2nd toughest ACC stadium.
 
When you use 9 men, sometimes 10 (while not even in the red zone mind you), the clear answer on how to make it work is to add another body to the mix. Fugh it, we can't get it done with extra OL, WR's, TE, and backs, let get a running QB. That'll fool them.
 
I would agree 100%. Give him a shot and see what he can do. He is probably one of the best athletes on the team and no harm starting him. If things go south put in Williams but both should play an equal amount the next several games. Tyler should never ever play another down for UM. As far as Mario is concerned he is about to lose the team, fans, ciity, and most of his recruits. I'm sure when the season ends numerous players will leave either to the portal or the NFL. It's getting much easier for opposing coaches to point out the deficiences of Mario to prospects. When the time goes and it will come that Mario can't recruit he is basically useless. MARIO IS EASILY THE WORST HEAD COACH OF ALL TIME? HE HAS ZERO FOOTBALL ACUMEN.

I just don’t think asking Emory to run our offense right now from the pocket at FSU is the best approach. Letting JB run some option and QB run with our run game( which is successful) and sprinkle in our screen game (again successful). Should be good enough with our defense.

No he HASN'T improved as a passer....How so??....because he throws the ball through a net better??....

I think we have to give Jacurri a chance for the rest of the season. The argument of preserving his redshirt is now over. There are 4 games left in the season.

I think a case can be made for Emory, but I think it has to be JB.
1. He has more experience.
2. The way the offense is built, he fits it to well. His mobility with our RB room and oline give us the best chance.
3. I have concern that he will look to transfer this off-season. If he doesn’t get a chance, that’s a real possibility. That leaves going into next year with a very very questionable QB room.

In all honesty anybody but the turn over machine. I think we get one more win. Let somebody else start IDGAF who it is
