It's supposed to be relatively quiet this weekend (Cristobal was one of the first guys in this morning). I think it picks up by Wednesday.

I honestly think that spring game put out a good product to build from/sell to future prospects on both sides. Trying to not base an opinion off of that too much cuz I jumped the gun last year like a dummy, but hopefully the portal agrees as well. Seemed like Chance vibed with it!
 
What’s the record for most players grabbed out of portal in the spring? I’d like for us to break that if the scholarships come available. I was happy with the competitiveness of last night but even with a completely healthy squad the 2’s and 3’s are Jacksonville University bad at some positions.

That ninjah MWilliams a beast! He covers and he throws that lil frame around! He needs to gain 10-15 pounds but he has all summer to do this.

There’s more areas that need help but Mario brought in way too many’s JAGs last year. If the guy isn’t a significant improvement over what we have, don’t bother.

It's the coaches' job to know. That's why it's called evaluation. You don't just bring in any guy off the street and say " oh well, we didn't know how good he would be until we played him in a game".

Even with evaluating we and everybody else misses sometimes jus seems our fans only dump on our team about it!

I don't care if another school's coach brings in bad players. I care about the players our coaches bring in.

I'm hopeful its just Cohen and Cooper don't start and others like Zion and McCoy didn't play. Thats alot of talent on the sidelines. But yea imagine this team right now if Manny was still recruiting OL. We'd have McClaughlin and Seymoure on one side of the line.
