IT’S TIME: BAD NEWS AND GOOD NEWS ABOUT OUR QB

Wrong. I was on Jarren's *** all night for:
- Taking that Safety.
- Holding on to the ball too long including the safety.
- Taking a low-percentage pass to a TE on 3rd down instead of just running for the wide open 10+ yards for a fresh set of downs.
(Check the game thread)

Put QB2 in there and I'd be busting Kosi's *** all night for:
- Over/Under-throwing the ball.
- Poor decision making that leads to multiple Interceptions.
- Channeling that inner Pickory Harris and heaving the football on a low-percentage deep route on 3rd down instead of hitting the TE on a short route for a fresh set of downs--and that's with a prime Jeff Thomas. (Nothing JT4 done this season making me believe Perry's heaves are getting pulled down.)

Difference between QB1 and QB2? Williams' problems are either coachable or correctable with experience. Perry is at or near his ceiling and will always be a streaky, middle-of-the-pack, 50% PCT passer--and that's with a slightly better OL than Williams has to work with now.

I've said it before--N'kosi gets my respect for beating FSU last season but that's all he's getting. Tate is not the answer either. Looked weak out there on Greentree all off-season--couldn't even compete with Perry. Miami sports is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately kind of city. Not sorry to **** on your parade but there is a reason Perry/Tate are stringers--they aren't good enough to start at Miami regularly (and will likely never be considering the pipeline of QBs we have waiting in the wings).
You're talking about Perry from last year as if he didn't improve this year and is the same player. This team has so many problems, it makes no sense at this point to be projecting QB play.

not so drastic, but Jarren has gone into the tad too conservative mode, he needs to tale chances, especially early in the game, and he needs to run more especially when we're on the deep minus side of the field

Not saying this is factual, but just a thought based upon Enos’ personality; Maybe dude is petrified to make a mistake. Like his completion % looks great on paper, but we ain’t moving & maybe Enos is more concerned w the completed pass v. the effects of the completed pass.

His coaching bio continues to trout out his QBs completion % v. wins/losses or yrds/g. So maybe Jarren has been brainwashed in to thinking complete the pass v. stretch the field. Just a thought.

Not saying - just saying It "feels" like its too early to cast all these new pieces out onto the junk heap: JW15, Enos and Manny.

I dont know what the time frame is to determine if they are gonna get the job done, 4 games, half a season, whole season, another recruiting cycle...etc.

IMO we need to give players time to produce in college ie time in S&C, time getting in the playbook, time to just change from 17/18 to 20/21 years of age.

JW15 first time playing any time and through 4 games, no INTs. That's pretty damm good. When I think of young QBs I think of the INTs they will throw.

Getting tired of Manny's silly "Learn how to win" mantra. But that's not enough to kick him to the curb.

We've been clamoring for motion, we got it. We have a solid run game even with our last outing.

Again I dont know what the timeframe is when we say "They are who we thought they were" but I dont think its 4 games.

J Dub is not the problem. The scheme we run is the problem. Manny will not be here long if he continues to try and run a pro style offense.

Perry and Martel would look worse. Enos is a problem and the line is not a top 100 line. VT is not likely to go well.
