You ride Jarrens **** harder than I do so what’s the difference??
For the record I would rather see Tate at QB as well not just NKosi
Wrong. I was on Jarren's *** all night for:
- Taking that Safety.
- Holding on to the ball too long including the safety.
- Taking a low-percentage pass to a TE on 3rd down instead of just running for the wide open 10+ yards for a fresh set of downs.
(Check the game thread)
Put QB2 in there and I'd be busting Kosi's *** all night for:
- Over/Under-throwing the ball.
- Poor decision making that leads to multiple Interceptions.
- Channeling that inner Pickory Harris and heaving the football on a low-percentage deep route on 3rd down instead of hitting the TE on a short route for a fresh set of downs--and that's with a
prime Jeff Thomas. (Nothing JT4 done this season making me believe Perry's heaves are getting pulled down.)
Difference between QB1 and QB2? Williams' problems are either coachable or correctable with experience. Perry is at or near his ceiling and will always be a streaky, middle-of-the-pack, 50% PCT passer--and that's with a slightly better OL than Williams has to work with now.
I've said it before--N'kosi gets my respect for beating FSU last season but that's all he's getting. Tate is not the answer either. Looked weak out there on Greentree all off-season--couldn't even compete with Perry. Miami sports is a what-have-you-done-for-me-lately kind of city. Not sorry to **** on your parade but there is a reason Perry/Tate are stringers--they aren't good enough to start at Miami regularly (and will likely never be considering the pipeline of QBs we have waiting in the wings).
