IT’S TIME: BAD NEWS AND GOOD NEWS ABOUT OUR QB

You keep saying 3 yards throws when in fact majority of his yardage and production is coming from throws 10 yards and up. He was 7-10 165 yards in throws between the 10-20 yard range vs cmu.

Before last game this was his passing breakdown.

plus even when Perry was throwing short yardage stuff as you say last year he was extremely inaccurate. Actually the worst in the conference even on throws 10 yards or less.

@KrazyCane

You just got owned.

saying NKosi is extremely inaccurate in this dink and donk offense is the biggest lie being told on this board. His completion percentage would be much higher in this offense just like Jarren Williams would be much lower in last years offense.

Who can throw meaningless 3 yard completions the best isn’t why I believe NKosi is a better QB...

NKosi would have better control of the huddle and the offense in general than Jarren. He doesn’t have a slow release, and he doesn’t take 5 seconds to decide who is the safest receiver to throw to to avoid the possibility (risk) of an interception at the expense of making any big plays which leads to all the unnecessary sacks Jarren takes as well.

Lol 3/6 for 2ints against UVA
14/23 165 vs GT
6/24 for a whopping 52 yards again Pitt

All of this behind a better OL. Yes Perry doesn’t decide who safest he just throws it wherever he feels. Besides FSU game, where were all these deep plays you’re talking about?

Furthest pass he completed in terms of yardage distance was the 41 yard throw to Brevin Jordan(29 yards in total pass length that was aided by 12 yards after the catch)

Comparing last year's offense and production is dumb. Things have changed from the top on down.

A month ago, you all were acting like we win the lottery with Enos. He's average at best and the OL doesn't allow for much as the defense can rush three or four, typically getting pressure. Combine that with our tight sets, we'll continue to struggle.

Jarren is doing alright if you look at the whole season. It took him a long time to seperate, so a change is needed when he bogs down the offense. He wasn't doing much of anything out there yesterday, so give Perry a shot.

Nothing wrong with taking a chance when what you're doing isn't working.

I said this already but NKosi would have a better completion percentage in this offense and Jarren would have a worse completion percentage in last years offense.

And this weak stat about Jarrens passing depth only proves how much of a below average dink and donk QB he is....

3 touchdowns out of 55 meaningless passes 10 yards and under.

6 TDs total out of 87 pass attempts... with only 10 downfield attempts, only 4 completions for 1 TD.

This is how you lose to teams like UNC and almost lose to Central Michigan.

Rashad Butler on QAM said, he thought the play calling was perplexing, alluding to the fact that the plays called by Enos weren’t OL friendly, and put the QB exposed to physical harm. To be fair, even Tom Brady gets shaky after a couple of hits. The OL this season, sucks mangos.

What good does benching jarren do for anything? That would literally be the worst decision to do.He’s playing well for a first time starter and he himself hasn’t played bad enough to give Perry a shot to start imo. We must remember he only has 4 games under his belt . He’s not THE problem of the offense either, so far the the oline #1 and playcalling have been far more problematic imo.

The way he is holding on to the ball, he will not survive the season.... he will get killed behind this OL while he goes through all his permutations and combinations in his mind

You bring Perry in for a series or two. Calm him down, go over what isn't working, show him what he could've done. Jarren was bad yesterday, maybe you missed it.

Jesus Christ jarren is fine the numbers say so. Jarren just gotta put pressure on the defense with his ability to run. As a defensive coordinator a running quarterback puts defenses in a bind especially when you can throw the hall as accurately as jarren can and lastly we gotta get it done up front in pass pro. He’s gotta make his reads and if it’s not there escape the pocket and be an athlete to keep the chains moving.

Oline and play calling was far worse imo, maybe you missed that.

You have to call plays. If they aren't producing, do you keep doing the same thing over and over or try something else? Sometimes a change can have positive results. Other teams have done this and if Jarren's psyche is too weak to accept he needed a breather on the side, he's not the QB for the job. Some of the best ever have been benched to come back better.

The main problem is the OC, his 1995 offense and the 40 slow play action pass plays a game. JW has trouble reading defenses and we having him turn his back and then want him to turn around and decide where to throw the ball. Until we run a spread offense we will struggle on O

The Bad News is it’s time to Bench Jarren Williams.. give him a trophy for not throwing any interceptions and tell him to have a seat.

JW freezes up in the pocket worst than any other QB I’ve ever seen start at Miami, I will never say another negative thing about Brad Kaaya again bc JW makes him look like Deshaun Watson.

Too indecisive, too slow to process defenses, too worried about not throwing interceptions instead of winning games.

Now he will probably hit the transfer portal but when you can only throw 1 TD against Central Michigan.... WHO CARES???

Good News: we have other options at QB. I’m all for running a two QB system with NKosi and Tate until we fire Enos at the end of the season.

Thoughts?

These guys just laid down the blueprint to stop our offense. I don’t think Jarren can hit on anything deep or down the sideline so he doesn’t even try. Stack the box and play the middle of the field and put your ends out wide and our slow *** linemen will be blocking air and the qb will hold the ball and not even sense the pressure.
