The Bad News is it’s time to Bench Jarren Williams.. give him a trophy for not throwing any interceptions and tell him to have a seat.

JW freezes up in the pocket worst than any other QB I’ve ever seen start at Miami, I will never say another negative thing about Brad Kaaya again bc JW makes him look like Deshaun Watson.

Too indecisive, too slow to process defenses, too worried about not throwing interceptions instead of winning games.

Now he will probably hit the transfer portal but when you can only throw 1 TD against Central Michigan.... WHO CARES???

Good News: we have other options at QB. I’m all for running a two QB system with NKosi and Tate until we fire Enos at the end of the season.

Time to give Perry a shot. Probably doesn’t solve anything given our history, but I’d like to see someone play QB that isn’t afraid to take a few chances.

They're not worried about balls going more than 10 yards because they know we can't protect the QB more than 3 seconds.

We have more than enough speed. The decision making problem lies with adjustments that need to be done schematically. It's no secret to anyone what our limitations are.

He didn’t do anything for 3 quarters and FSU sucked. The only reason we won that game was because of FSU’s turnovers.

I can guarantee nothing will change about the way Jarren plays QB. Too timid to run, Slow release, slow decisions, inaccurate deep ball, take unnecessary sacks, 1-2 Touchdowns a game but won’t throw interceptions which all equates to him never being able to win a meaningful game at Miami.

It’s obvious you’ll keep saying this regardless of the fact that Perry is extremely inaccurate, forces multiple bad throws that turn into TOs. He average 7 yards a pass but here you are acting like he’s Patrick Mahomes

Still have to score points off of turnovers?? Williams can’t even score in the red zone. Jon Richt was the QB coach and NKosi was handicapped by a predictable offense, and he was seeing more pressure against FSUs dline from Brian Burns and Marvin Austin than Jarren Williams has all season. Still manned up scored 4 TDs and won the game... nothing about JW shows that he is capabale of winning that game.

Well yea that's part of it. The line is what it is. But we keep running slow developing plays and bunching up the field. There's a chicken or the egg to all of this, but certainly starts with our DIII line. That said, theres been chances for JW to push it down field, but he's a committed check down Charlie right now.

I agree that he does freeze in the pocket. I can’t see the whole field so I am sure I am missing something but he needs more check down outlets. We have a slew of Te’s and RB’s who can catch and run. I just don’t see enough shorter easy to read stuff. Drags, crossing, shadows, wheels, angles. Also option routes based on coverage. I just don’t feel like Enos’s offense is predicated on exploiting the defense. It can often leave Williams with very few options if our WR’s don’t get separation. I kind of feel like Enos believes he is OC at Alabama.

You keep saying 3 yards throws when in fact majority of his yardage and production is coming from throws 10 yards and up. He was 7-10 165 yards in throws between the 10-20 yard range vs cmu.

Before last game this was his passing breakdown.

plus even when Perry was throwing short yardage stuff as you say last year he was extremely inaccurate. Actually the worst in the conference even on throws 10 yards or less.
