The Bad News is it’s time to Bench Jarren Williams.. give him a trophy for not throwing any interceptions and tell him to have a seat.

JW freezes up in the pocket worst than any other QB I’ve ever seen start at Miami, I will never say another negative thing about Brad Kaaya again bc JW makes him look like Deshaun Watson.

Too indecisive, too slow to process defenses, too worried about not throwing interceptions instead of winning games.

Now he will probably hit the transfer portal but when you can only throw 1 TD against Central Michigan.... WHO CARES???

Good News: we have other options at QB. I’m all for running a two QB system with NKosi and Tate until we fire Enos at the end of the season.

Thoughts?

You must not have watched Kaaya. JW has a lot of room for improvement, but he's nowhere near as stiff as a freshman as BK was as a junior.

Your analysis is spot on.

Let’s see how he does vs VT. If things go south, let’s try something else. No reason not to see what these guys have in meaningful snaps.

He's actually super decisive and throws an amazing accurate fast ball on RPO's. It's almost a guaranteed 10-15 yd gain every-time

But on slow *** PA he doesn't have it. I know it's a staple of Enos' offense and he trying to set up the deep ball and run but dumping half of those plays for shotgun 4 WR spread (1 RB to block/chip) would work better imo

We got a game manager QB when we need a playmaker. If we had a line, I'd roll with JW all day. We don't, so we shouldn't. At least give one of Kosi or Tate some burn in real time to see how they run the O. No doubt they won't be as precise, but I've got no doubt theyd have some bigger plays. We aren't capable of being a "March it down the field team"

Wdub is a very limited QB. Look like Kyle Wright all over.

Anything will be better than the sh$t show displayed yesterday but Enos is a ******. It is time to caught up with time and go spread all the way. You look all around CFB and we are anemic.

I don't think it's time to bench Jarren yet but you do have a legitimate point. He has got to be able to throw the ball down the field. I think ridiculous slow developing plays and our inability to run the ball was the bigger issue yesterday.
I just wonder if our not being able to run is because teams are selling out and not worried about balls going more than 10 yards in the air.

If he doesn’t get knocked tf out by VT he will by UVA. We will not beat VT even as bad as they are if he plays like he has so far this season. I think he should go through concussion protocol anyway because his brain got rocked on the “almost” safety and it was obvious.

I never thought I would see another Cane QB make Rosier and Kyle Wright look good. Smdh
