Golden didn’t get it when it came to the defense especially.

Richt doesn’t get it when it comes to the offense.

It’s speed baby!!!

Whoever the coach is, the only way for Miami to be successful in all 3 phases of the game is to fully utilize Miami’s speed advantage.

It’s funny that Richt clearly understood that from the get got as it pertains to defense. He specifically sought out a guy that was going to utilize Miami’s speed to his advantage, and look how successful that has been. But, on offense, he tried to put the same square peg into a round hole that Golden did with his defense. He wants a powerful offense, and Miami just doesn’t have the recruiting base for that style of offense.

It’s a process. We need an innovative offense that fully utilizes our skill position speed. The success we have from that will open up new recruiting doors, which will help us to add the power factor into the mix over time.

So simple!

Didn't Rickets say when he got here that we lack speed at WR and that has (had) to be top priority in recruiting? Now our fast dude will be lining up somewhere in Illinois. SMDH. He FN underutilizes every offensive weapon. Pathetic!
I do recall Richt saying something to that effect. How much speed does it take to block for slow developing HB dives on 1st and 2nd down?

he got it with the defense as he's an offensive guy. this is his offense and "it works" so his pride is what's preventing that. easy to put your ego down for the side of the ball you don't coach
