It’s only game number 2 and things will only get better once the team practices and actually plays on a regular basis.

On a side note, mighty Arkansas State fell to SMU today 44-21, glad we didn’t have to play them lmfao!!!!!!

Yeah being 2-0 is better than being 0-2 but some things are concerning.
After last game I said a one game sample size does not tell you how a team will play but with two games you can see some trends.
And we should be concerned with this things.
1. The secondary. Obviously replacing the players that graduated is an issue.
2. Defensive alignment. Even the commentator kept saying we were leaving the slot receiver uncovered by alignment.
3. Inconsistent pressure from the DE's. I can't understand why but our DE are just getting blocked.

Against slightly better competition this things are going to get us beat.
