Foundation: Admin. support and expectations leading to resources and accountability. We have not had this. So we fail. It must start with the foundation.

Structure: AD who understands program and need state and football and resources and coaching and candidate pool and makes good decisions and prioritizes. We have not had this, obviously.

FF&E: Facilities and support resources, relationships, recruiting, budgets, etc. We are improving but not yet competitive with top teams.

Finish: Right coach, staff and culture. We have not had this, obviously.

Furnishing: Talent, from recruiting, evals, all sources. We have had plenty of talent to win Coastal, but not nearly enough to be relevant nationally.

Conclusion:

Admin: Grade F
AD: Grade F
Coaching: Grade F
Talent: Grade B-

Yup just look at the Baltimore Ravens. Starts from the top and you get success. Unfortunately we had that structure in the past and it is extremely hard to get back

The thing not complicated is the whole admin that has anything to do with football and football coaching staff needs to go. Lost to the team with the worst winning percentage since they started football in ncaa history. Sadly probably no one goes before the end of next season

it seems that after 15 years of awful football, the fan base is taking a look at the whole mess from Admin to AD dept to HC is issue, although CMD and his crew have brought us to new lows..... current president thinks football is played with a roundball Epstein on BOT wants blame on staff..... AD Dept has become a joke

It is complicated, which is why most teams, including us, consistently fail.

Probably a few reasons. Start with, there are only 4 playoff spots and 1 title each year. There is no reason to expect random distribution of outcomes. Better foundations, better support, better coaches, those places are advantaged. Add to it talent access. Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio St., Clemson, these programs are in the hotbed of football. Also, winning leads to reinforcement of certain advantages. Game attracts game. UF and FSU also have titles in recent era. Auburn too. The only real question is why Texas, Miami and USC can’t regularly join the club.

And you are confused. It is not complicated. That does not mean it is easy.
