It’s kinda funny

I said after UVA and UNC manny was done and so was Blake. Nobody , I repeat nobody else said that. Actually every ” insider “ said Manny need to finish with either a losing record or 6-6. I got clowned for that up to the last couple weeks. To the point people said I was backing off of it or was wrong. Even when he won three in a row I said winning out still wouldn’t be enough if Mario wanted the job ( I can bump if ya want). Once again all the insiders said the seat had cooled down after the streak.

If people had real sauces they’d know there’s a reason I said he was done, everything was in motion after UVA.

You say I want attention even though I don’t have any social media or a you tube channel. I make nothing off of info that’s weeks ahead of the paid people.

Btw it’s easy to say it’s common knowledge after it’s out in the open , I’ve been saying all of this for two months .

I put my reputation on the line too many times to count and have the receipts to show it. Knowing ******** like you are just waiting for me to stub my toe, so they can hate.

I can show you multiple screen shots where my info is used on other cane sites , some asking , some not. Using my posts word for word. But I don’t stress it , it’s not that serious.

What’s funny is people get hot takes or confident after I post something, but if I’m wrong nobody will remember their take or all this “common Twitter knowledge“. It’ll be “ Cribby was wrong and is a fake insider“.

Lastly I’ll say this all the pay sites and newspaper guys have been dropping supposed bombs , but there’s one problem….it was on cis in Sep lol. Which is fine , I appreciate it. I know I’m in a small pond, but this isn’t how I make my income.
Cribby reminds me of the quote
Bosses don’t brag and gangstas don’t advertise
I always appreciate your info

Manny is resilient. He will bounce back.

**** he might be FIU’s coach in waiting. Or he could kick back, spend a few duckets, and take another dc job and build himself back up.

He bounced back from the Texas debacle. He will survive this too.

If he eats the humble pie , learns from his mistakes, and keeps developing he might become a decent head coach one day. He will have to take an honest look at himself though. No more spin jobs or passing the buck.
I don't know about that. He's now known for giving up over 500 yards rushing in a game at both miami and Texas and the all time most passing yds given up at miami too. It's adding up for him and that's his rep now.

Had those recruits better prepared and more focused than Riley’s 5*s and beat that *** in all three phases. He has the perfect profile.
Goes back to what I've said about evaluation and development.

I only know about Rhule from the Panthers - but he's got a ridiculous eye for talent based off his first two Draft classes.

Considering he turned round Temple and Baylor in short order (and started putting players in the NFL from both programmes) I'm sure that same eye for talent was on display in Texas and Pennsylvania. You look at Shaq Thompson in Charlotte this year - a completely different player to the one that played the previous 6 years - dude can develop.

Not saying Aranda isn't a good coach, but it's way too early for me to crown him.

He will get his shot again.

I don’t think he will ever be big time, but I think he could get a low level p5 job in 5-10 years. He is a relatively young dude.

There is no one you could crown. Nick Saban is not coming to Miami. Nor is Urban or Riley, the offensive guru who Aranda owns.

Aranda is a proven football mind, an elite defensive coordinator, and a guy who has won a national championship while in the SEC. Nominated for Broyles while at Utah ******* State. At Wisconsin, over three years as defensive coordinator, the defense ranked first nationally in total defense, second in scoring defense, third in pass defense and fourth in run defense. His last year, they were first in scoring defense in the country. And we all know what he did at LSU.

Same upward trends at every stop. Same one that obviously is happening at Baylor.

What in the effing **** even is this? Oh yeah, we have nothing to worry about....until we do. That's quite the update from the insiders in Eugene.
“We have nothing to worry about so I’m gonna write a big article telling you why we have nothing to worry about because in reality we’re ******* freaking out So we need to convince ourselves that we shouldn’t be freaking out because lumberjack land is so much better than South Florida even though we all know it’s not”

I was reading some stuff on their private thread this afternoon. No one really has any idea where their search is going; candidates have risen and then fallen on their board ... Latest rumor is it won't be resolved before early signing day; somehow recruits thought it would be announced by Dec 5th and there was a very big OV weekend planned. Now the talk is it may extend up to the playoffs since there are candidates of interest that may be involved in that.
Seems like they were all in on Franklin but his stock has dropped fast. Fickell must’ve told them a firm no. Wild considering the PAC-12 South is a dumpster fire and USC is probably the only West Coast job that would get Playoff consideration no questions asked.

hilarious when our own fans and alumni call this a **** *** job...ignorant af to be honest. It has the potential to be an ELITE job, as long as the school dedicates the resources (it's always had btw...) to it. Even when the school never poured money into it, it was an outstanding/attractive job. We've won 5 natty's because of the ridiculously rich talent base, good coaching, and a team culture that was handed down year to year that epitomized hard work (all substance, and some flash when well deserved)...not the facilities...not the fans...and certainly not because of admin support.

even without this sudden surge of resources, it is and will always be an excellent job because of both the history and talent base. all we had to do, even without the school pouring money in, was make better head coaching hires. We would have at least won the coastal a half dozen times, probably the conference at least once or twice, since joining the ACC.

we've made the WORST coaching hires, bar none, in the entire country, over this 18 year span where we've been mediocre. ridiculously bad hires...it's crazy to even fathom tbh. you pair horrible head coaches with above average talent, and you get an average record of 7-5 since 2004...

miami has always been a top 15 job...and now with the sudden influx of resources, i'd argue it is a top 5 job. we are one of a handful of programs that can legit rip bama off this ledge of dominance they've been on. not too many other schools can say that.

I've been thinking this for awhile but I hadn't had enough to drink or a reason to say it, but ****, I kinda agree with the the dude Cribby is responding to here. For a man who implies he doesn't want attention, this is a long *** post that thinks it says a lot, but says nothing. 'Cause a man who says he doesn't want attention and then starts showing concerns about people's "hot takes" and pay sites and newspapers? ****.

You want credit for your saying what you did post UNC and UVA. But... had Manny won out, would we see this post? I'm leaning towards no. And you call the dude who said this an "*******"? Something's changed in the vibe of your posts, man, and I don't like it.

I used to dig seeing that @Cribby posted. It felt like I was going to get a peek behind the curtain of things. A tease about James Williams or the like. An insight into practice. But these days (to be clear, by these days I mean a week or two ago, 'cause I haven't been lurking on the boards much 'cause we suck and it's depressing as **** to see the pile on), a Cribby post is just another Manny pile on.

I wonder what happened. Eh, whatever. I'm just bummed that a Cribby post in the past year or two used to be fun. Then you switched your name to ******* Alex whats his nuts for whatever reason. And now this. Whatever. All this **** sucks. I watched that 4th and 14 from a brewery on a phone with a friend and god****. God****.

Miami lost to FIU on the gravesite of the OrangeBowl to a team that is 3-33 who was using borrowed equipment

It’s like a horrific car crash they can never be removed from my memory

Fuq Blake James and Manny Diaz

OK...so in 2018, Miami went 7-6. We might very well go 7-6 this year. In 2018, we did not have the IPF. We do now. In 2018, we did not have new on-campus dorms. We do now. And before Manny destroyed our season, we were a pre-season Top 20 team.

So what has "changed" on the Miami side of the equation from 2018 to 2021 that would make Miami any less desirable to Mario? NOTHING. Now, nobody doubts that Mario has HIMSELF improved Oregon from 2018 to now, which he could very well replicate at Miami. But to argue that "the programs are in totally different places" is simply insane.

Coaches who BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES look at the challenge like "I can do for Miami what I just did from Oregon". They don't look at it like "oh, it would be so much easier for me if I just stayed here in Oregon".

Yes, Mario may not want to "walk away from that right now" in a basic sense, but that doesn't equate to "committed to the program and the long-haul".

If Miami is where he wants to be, he'll make the move. Regardless of "every other factor" in which Oregon has the edge. Which, of course, the author never specifies.
And don’t forget the last word of his post…..”yet”. Pretty sneaky of him to drop that in there lastly.
