It’s kinda funny

Mario Cristobal Rumors

"We're at the point in the season where we are going to see a lot of Mario Cristobal rumors. We know there is already a lot of talk from Miami about the Hurricanes wanting to target Cristobal as their top guy should they move on from Manny Diaz, which is very possible after this season.

Here is the rub from what we are told. If this was 2018 there would be a chance this could go do. But this isn't 2018 anymore. The programs are in totally different places. The Hurricanes only real advantage over Oregon is that they are "home" for Cristobal and his family and the ability to recruit in a short area for all your players. Every other factor Oregon has the edge. Most importantly, Oregon is set up for a playoff run over the next few seasons, starting now. We're told he doesn't want to walk away from that right now. He's committed to the program and the long-haul. Now things could change, we've seen it before. On our end, there isn't anything out there to really get too worried about yet."

How much hedging can you have in one paragraph? Wow

Or wasn’t even about that , if you want to discredit me or think I’m a fake it’s all good. The point was all the cane fans here who degrade this job like nobody wants it. No, coaches worth their salt want to go where the program is going all out to win.
Which is why I always included in my job rankings “if all things were equal” for the most part.

but that's my point. when you engage in the back and forth with a jealous/envious micro ***** you descend to their level. reminds me of this intelligent piece of wisdom: "don't argue with stupid people, they lower you to their level and beat you with experience."

you have no need to do that cribby. your word is good for 97% of the people here. that's a **** of a rating.
You‘re 100% right. Inday is gone so I don’t have my cis conscience anymore.

I’ll try to do better .

OK...so in 2018, Miami went 7-6. We might very well go 7-6 this year. In 2018, we did not have the IPF. We do now. In 2018, we did not have new on-campus dorms. We do now. And before Manny destroyed our season, we were a pre-season Top 20 team.

So what has "changed" on the Miami side of the equation from 2018 to 2021 that would make Miami any less desirable to Mario? NOTHING. Now, nobody doubts that Mario has HIMSELF improved Oregon from 2018 to now, which he could very well replicate at Miami. But to argue that "the programs are in totally different places" is simply insane.

Coaches who BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES look at the challenge like "I can do for Miami what I just did from Oregon". They don't look at it like "oh, it would be so much easier for me if I just stayed here in Oregon".

Yes, Mario may not want to "walk away from that right now" in a basic sense, but that doesn't equate to "committed to the program and the long-haul".

If Miami is where he wants to be, he'll make the move. Regardless of "every other factor" in which Oregon has the edge. Which, of course, the author never specifies.

The biggest joke to me has to be the “Miami is a total rebuild” narrative these foreign pay sites are telling their customers. These guys are trying to convince themselves Miami is anything other than spending money on a quality HC/staff away from 10 wins. It’s laughable.

There’s talent all over the roster with the exception of OL and LB and even then, there’s still talent that just needs to be developed. And with the portal, a rebuild is easier than ever. Just look at what Tucker did at Michigan State.

These dudes are getting nervous just at the thought of Miami spending some money and being competent again.

What in the effing **** even is this? Oh yeah, we have nothing to worry about....until we do. That's quite the update from the insiders in Eugene.

I said after UVA and UNC manny was done and so was Blake. Nobody , I repeat nobody else said that. Actually every ” insider “ said Manny need to finish with either a losing record or 6-6. I got clowned for that up to the last couple weeks. To the point people said I was backing off of it or was wrong. Even when he won three in a row I said winning out still wouldn’t be enough if Mario wanted the job ( I can bump if ya want). Once again all the insiders said the seat had cooled down after the streak.

If people had real sauces they’d know there’s a reason I said he was done, everything was in motion after UVA.

You say I want attention even though I don’t have any social media or a you tube channel. I make nothing off of info that’s weeks ahead of the paid people.

Btw it’s easy to say it’s common knowledge after it’s out in the open , I’ve been saying all of this for two months .

I put my reputation on the line too many times to count and have the receipts to show it. Knowing ******** like you are just waiting for me to stub my toe, so they can hate.

I can show you multiple screen shots where my info is used on other cane sites , some asking , some not. Using my posts word for word. But I don’t stress it , it’s not that serious.

What’s funny is people get hot takes or confident after I post something, but if I’m wrong nobody will remember their take or all this “common Twitter knowledge“. It’ll be “ Cribby was wrong and is a fake insider“.

Lastly I’ll say this all the pay sites and newspaper guys have been dropping supposed bombs , but there’s one problem….it was on cis in Sep lol. Which is fine , I appreciate it. I know I’m in a small pond, but this isn’t how I make my income.
Can you give us your prediction? Whose AD,HC in 2022??

Things were put in motion after the UVA game. That means we're further along in the AD search than we are alluding to.
We're leaking information about us pumping more money into the program so that we get a better talent pool selection for our AD and future head coach search. Ok I'm done reading tea leaves....

“I don’t know anything but I’m covering all of my bases just in case it does happen”

Looks to be laying the foundation for Mario leaving. So sick of the “programs are in a different place” argument. Oregon isn’t even good yet. Limping by mediocre teams because there’s still holes in the roster because of how far it was in the *******. He’d be 9-1 or 8-2 at worst at Miami right now too - as would any coach with a clue.

Manny’s ineptitude is not a reflection of the talent in the program or the state of the program
