I have absolutely no insider knowledge but he was the first name I thought of after Blake was fired. I would love it if the new AD at least gave him a call.

You and I have been talking about this for a bit. It's just so hard for people to listen when there has been a non-stop 20-year "Miami is cheap" myth that has built up on all the Miami boards.

Even if some of this is "new money", Miami wasn't cheap when we offered Butch and Larry top money (yeah, we didn't give Butch a fair buyout, but the salary was good).

Randy and Manny were first-timers and didn't "deserve" top money, and Golden was coming from Temple.

But we gave Richt a pretty strong $ offer too.
