Ole Miss cannot comment on the kid officially since they don’t have his paperwork.

There are ways around that to not make the kid look bad like this, but that’s why they said they didn’t have paperwork and have no further comment.

It's very simple what happened: they knew who he was, gave him an oral offer (use of word "verbal" in this context is probably universally bad usage of word "verbal"), promised he would receive NLOI papers, but signing day came and there were no papers. They simply lied to the kid.

He probably has grounds for a lawsuit, but I doubt he'd sue. Brian Fortay would sue; Garrison Lassiter would sue for sure, probably even without the promise.
 
Stupid incompetent Barstool is illiterate. Ole Miss knew who he was. They had him visit and extended an offer.

Dumb Barstool is confusing this with guy in Nevada who called an announcement at a school assembly, went through the hat game, put on a Cal hat, despite the fact Cal had no idea who he was.
