It’s Criminal That Duke is Not Ranked.

This is exactly why Miami just has to keep winning.

You already have ACC teams that are 4-0 and looking good and still can’t get ranked. Wake Forest isn’t ranked either. Meanwhile, it feels like SEC and Big Ten teams get the benefit of the doubt even after they lose because everybody wants to talk about how “tough” their conference schedule is.

And watch what happens later in the season. If Duke, Pitt, Virginia, Wake Forest, etc. keep winning, instead of people saying Miami played a solid ACC schedule, we’re still going to hear “Miami hasn’t played anybody.”

Mizz has 0 wins against 500+ teams under the current coach. Having them ranked is a scam!
By year end, Miami will have played against at least 3 ranked teams: ND, +ACC(Pitt, Duke, VT), +ACC CG. If Pitt, VT, Duke end 9-3 each (not sure it is possible), they all should end ranked.
 
They had no choice but to keep Mizzou ranked given that UF is on deck and they just pounded Ole Miss.

What’s wild, if the ball bounces the wrong way we may be a bubble team while undefeated

Not in any particular order but

1. Texas
2. Georgia
3. Alabama
4. Florida
5. Ole Miss
6. Ohio State
7. Oregon
8.Notre Dame

I can hear them saying “Miami doesn’t deserve to be in because we didn’t play anyone.”

Them and Mizzou didn't beat a team with a winning record last season. Yet they are included in other teams gauntlet of games. WF beat SMU and UVA, one beat us and one played for the ACC title. But they are classified as a nobody" Miami plays

I said Wake was a good football team after we played them. They pass the eye test most weeks. Not elite obviously, but a very good solid team.

This is setting up perfect. Duke keeps this up and Manny will be in the catbird seat in Tallahassee this time next year. Again, I’ve never blamed Manny as I related how that whole thing went down when he took the gig. But I’d be pleased if he succeeded Mikey.
