No one knows exactly what would help him. The young man from OSU was in class, with teammates and coaches, and was winning games, and he still retired due to his mental health. Everyone isn’t the same. We don’t know what he has been doing to better himself mentally.I'm all for Mental Health, but everybody has to deal with the forces of real life even after therapy. It would greatly help him cope if he got on the field and dealt with class, teammates, coaches and performed well. Ultimately he'll feel better if he feels he's successful.
Are you a therapist?I'm all for Mental Health, but everybody has to deal with the forces of real life even after therapy. It would greatly help him cope if he got on the field and dealt with class, teammates, coaches and performed well. Ultimately he'll feel better if he feels he's successful.
The fact that cognitive behavioral therapy is more effective than antidepressant shows that positive thoughts and behaviors can reverse/stabilize the chemical imbalance. Getting back to work/play and achieving daily successes goes a long way to treating depression (and anxiety). Are you a therapist?
Plenty of successful, high performing people suffer from chronic depression and success does nothing for them. A chemical imbalance isn’t solved by “feeling successful”.
Do you know what treatment plan Issiah is following? Are you a certified therapist or mental health expert? The fact that cognitive behavioral therapy is more effective than antidepressant shows that positive thoughts and behaviors can reverse/stabilize the chemical imbalance. A 24 year old OL???I said from the beginning to be patient with him. It’ll likely take 2-3 years before we see him.
He was talking about from the beginning when he first transferred from UF 2 years ago. We'll see him on the field 2022 or 2023 at the earliest per cribby.A 24 year old OL???
