Isn't this what yall wanted ?

I for one was NOT in favor of starting a true freshman QB in that game. We have a 5th year senior on our roster who has a couple dozen D1 starts under his belt.

Granted I didn't see any of the practices but again, just from knowing how things work in CFB, you had to expect Kaaya to implode to some degree in that game.
I didn't see any degree of Kayaa implosion. Some first game mistakes, yes, but nothing unexpected or worse than Morris has made. Nothing that made me freak out over him being in there

i did see an Ol implode

and clearly saw an OC IMPLODE play calling ways that made Nix proud.

what I want to see now is an HC implode on his staff and his tendencies and try to turn it around in butch Davis after Syracuse loss UCLA style right now and if not have and AD EXPLODE on the whole lot of him and his staff by seasons end.

There was not enough qb play Monday to determine what kind of qb we have. He was bound to make mistakes because he's green, and every phase of that game contributed to making it even more difficult for him.

That game was not lost by kaaya. Or even the offense.

Coaching. That was it.

I was neither for not against him starting, but when they started him they needed to accept mistakes, not try and prevent them with that **** game plan. Everything you saw Monday was coaching.

Neither was I.

I wanted the best guy.
Was actually willing to suffer a loss(even tho that game was easily winnable) if it meant we would be better for it later in the year. In other words was willing to take one step back in order to take two steps forward. Wouldn't have mattered who our QB was. Might have won with RW at QB but it woulda just delayed the clarity of the problem. I think my mistake was having complete confidence that the coaches know what's best for the team and the program. Doesn't Golden have a masters in sports psychology? I said this in a previous post I was never more sure that Golden was the guy to bring us back. I was a fool. On paper I know all is not lost and we could still win 10 games. Reality is theres no way that is gonna happen.
We have a lot of talent. More than Louisville. We have no idea how to use it. We don't play like Miami Hurricanes. Under this staff we never will. Only a matter of time before recruits start pulling out. How could a head coach of a team as talented as Miami play so timid? I can't get past that. To sum up my rant. These coaches can't fix what is broken....because it is them. I'm so depressed with what I saw on the field I can't explain it.
My daughter bought her 1st house and I was working there fixing it up on Monday. 5 hrs b4 game time I tore my bicep off the bone. Brutal injury! If you told me Miami would win but I would tear my bicep tendon off the bone or Miami would lose but your arm would be fine. I would say take my bicep. Scary knowing what I know now about this staff I woulda done that. I'm an idiot.

Balled?

Help me understand which definition you are using. Balled as in cried after getting smacked in the puss on the first drive and looking shell shocked half the game? Or balled as in played really really well?

because the second one did not happen

OL and game plan were bad, but skip passes, short arms and missing wide open plays is not balling.

He got no help from anybody and it was his first game in college. EVERYTHING was stacked against this kid and he still made plays. Given the circumstances and the fact that everyone else on offense stunk it up i think he played **** good. Took that shot on his first throw but wasn't scared take another one when he hit Walford to set up the TD throw. The INT when he was trying to hit Dobard is easily fixable. Had the moxy to try and catch Louisville off guard with the throw to Coley that ended up a turnover. He showed alot of promise but he had some nerves.

Most of this. This kid is a highly recruited QB and will likely be very good. But he did not ball and moxy is a little much considering the play ended up as a fail of his doing.

I am excited to see him tomorrow night and see what he can do.
