Ishmael Aristide new LB coach?

If he is the LB coach hire, the narrative on here is about to change from “we want an ace recruiter” to “we want someone who can develop players” right before your eyes.

And if he is the hire, expect a whole bunch of “but he’s only coached DBs” comments. Position coaches regularly coach different rooms throughout their career. Just goes to show how many casuals we have on this site.

It's also big to shut some of the spigot off from TAMU. We've got enough teams poaching and picking, let's keep the best recruiters for this area on staff and away from peer institutions.

It's not at all unusual to coach multiple positions- even both sides of the ball- in an assistants career.

But Aristide, like Jean is not an uncommon Haitian last name.

Its not like its Hitler. I worked at a school with about 10 Aristides. I dont think anyone will confuse him w Jean Bertrand. Hes already one of their better recruiters.

Most importantly: any comments about his
name are not serious takes bruh. Relax.

We need more recruiters, and if this guy’s that, then I welcome him with open arms. If Patke is the football scientist everyone claims he is, then he can coach LBs and let this dude stock the shelves.

Sometimes dudes get reps as recruiters but have no meaningful names under their belts. Give me some real names this guy has landed.
