When the Miami Hurricanes found themselves in crucial moments, whether it was a pivotal third down or simply needing a first down, Isaiah Horton consistently rose to the occasion as the go-to player.

We’ve been on the lookout for Horton to make his mark, and this game was the one where it looked like the spark was finally there.

In the offseason of last season, Isaiah Horton worked on his craft and ended up starting all 13 games of the season last year for the Miami Hurricanes, he waited patiently for his turn at Miami and now is seeing it.

Whenever Horton found himself open, Ward consistently connected with him, particularly excelling on those hitch routes.

Horton has reached an exciting new peak in his career, marking his inaugural game with more than 100 receiving yards, along with a touchdown to celebrate the achievement.

We saw a glimpse of Hoton in the Florida game when he caught 4 catches and 70 yards but it was nothing like this when Horton was just a straight baller.

He should have had 2TD’s. That was a bad missed call on the what should have been the 2nd.

I said in the offseason he’d hit “ dude status this year “. I think we’re there. It’s nice to have a future number one sitting in our laps that’s been developed. High ceiling for this cat.

Isiah had his coming out party yesterday and to me was the most consistent receiver and was the one who really opened up the passing game and everyone else followed after that we are really p[alying as a team whereas guys really don't care about stats and they just want to win.

He’s a #1 all day. Elite size, has some speed and strong hands. Plus Horton is a really hard worker too and plays very confident

Horton IS what they were looking for from the portal ... that big bodied 6'4" speedster who can catch. Man he has come around from being a "potential" contributor to looking ROCK SOLID with a chance to play on Sundays!!

They were kinda alluding to it on the broadcast but it is funny that he looks like the best candidate for Biletnikoff award and he was the only one of the top 4 WRS not to be on the preseason watch list.
