Isaiah is the brother of Texas draft pick Vernon Broughton and is currently a UNLV commit. He's picked up Canes and Auburn offers in the last moth and is visiting for the Gator game.

His highlights look okay, but I am not seeing the dominant trench bully one would expect from the son of a former NFL defensive lineman and the little brother of a former Texas DT who was drafted last year. I am thinking a lot of this recruiting buzz is based on his size, genetics and projected development.

Now don't get wrong, you can't coach his natural size and genetics, so I definitely see this young man as developmental but I have to wonder why UNLV, an not lower tier school in Texas (SMU, TT, TCU, Baylor, Rice, or even UH). He'll even a K-State, ISU, UK, or Colorado, something is/was a miss here in his recruitment early.

Ya I wasn't overly impressed…Maybe just D Lew doing diligence in his area Tex. Maybe just a backup plan in case Kennedy looks around. Similar size and game, although Kennedy just looks better.

Like you said, developmental if we take him.

It’s pretty late in the process. I think what you see in terms of current visits is your big DT pool.
