Is Vasiljevic the worst "3 Pt Specialist" in history?

I will say in DJs defense, Texas Tech sure coulda used him. Everybody on that team is a bricklayer in terms of perimeter shooting. He'd be Steph Curry on that squad. Shows, I guess, you can make the Elite 8 solely on having a rotation of brawny players inside.

So to recap quickly: DJ shot 35% from 3 in his freshman year. He shot 41% in his Sophomore year. Very nice improvement. But then he went back down to 36% in his Junior year. I know last year was a rough one, but come on as a Junior you're supposed to be improving! Hope like **** he shoots over 40% this season. And Consigliere needs to stop being a major troll on these boards and go get a job like a real adult. This *** clown makes it real tough to read through threads with his incessant repetitive bull**** he spews out. OK rant over. Go Canes!

DJ also played significantly more minutes last year, that plays a role in someone's % dropping. It's not an accident that he wore down as the season progressed. As a shooter, fatigue makes you significantly less efficient. I think that with his minutes dropping somewhat, his percentage will go back to 40 or so.

That and his shot selection was forced to suffer because we had no one else on the roster.

With 223 career 3 pointers, Vasiljevic is now tied for 5th all time at Miami. He's also 2nd all time at Miami in career FT % at 89%.

Not a bad shooter, I'd say.

DJ is one of the best offensive players in Miami history.

He's been an elite shooter since the day he arrived on campus, and the floor-spacing he provides when he is on the court is a game changer. His shot selection and ability to put it on the floor have improved every year.
