Is UM admin deliberately sabotaging the football program?

In regards to the OP's question, I don't believe it's deliberate. That's laughable, to say the least, considering the amount of money the program generates.

I do believe that the people in charge are not necessarily sports fans, and are evaluating head coaching hires by metrics other than winning and losing. The Larry Coker hiring is excusable, as it did land us 2 national titles* and we had a monstrous wave of momentum that basically any coach could have won with. But that's how you can arrive at the hirings of Randy Shannon and Al Golden, and for that, they have paid a heavy price of being nationally ridiculed and disrespected.

12 consecutive years of failure for a program that is only really 36 years old is grossly excessive, and so there is an absolute imperative to make sure the next hire is the right one. We'll find out fairly soon which way this is going to go.

I know it's hard to be patient, but there's nothing else to do for now, other than fly banners exhorting the BOT to not make the fatal mistake of hiring Cristobal. I shudder at that even being a remote possibility.

Its a conspiracy against UM football. The people running UM are not die hard fans like us.

I don't think their decisions have much to do with destroying the football program. Just condescending ignorance that is unwilling to listen to anyone else but themselves.

As typical liberal academicians, they are so full of themselves. They always presume that they know what is best.

However their Achillies Heel is personal criticism. They cannot stand being criticized publicly. Their ego will make them make choices to avoid being called out publicly. Hitting their fragile ego is the key to halting their condescending march of stupidity.

Your argument has merit, but not with Flake. His puppet masters will not allow it.
