Is this what Richt's offense was supposed to look like ?

This is showing me that Morris was miles better than Rosier - even though SM was far from our best QB ever, simply having him the last 2 years would have yielded better results.

If Mark had Stephen Morris at his QB who had a "Superior ARM" and was way more efficient than Rosier, than yeah...that's how "Marks, " offense would have looked like.

This is the last time I think our OL actually functioned properly. They gave the QB time, opened up holes for the RBs, and sustained blocks all over the field. The QBs actually made quick decisive decisions as well. Why is Morris always falling back when throwing? lol Good thing he had a cannon for an arm.

Morris was the truth. He was also a pretty effective runner but we didn't get to see that because Golden was trotting (aka forcing) him out there on a bad wheel. It was an ankle or an Achilles or something.

My auntie is friends with a kid's mom (backup RB in 2013 and 2014) that transferred to Miami from Iowa. He used to be real tight with Stephen because they both went to Pace. Stephen told her on multiple occasions that he was hurt and Golden kept on making him play.

I liked Stephen a lot. I feel like we didn't really get to see him at his best and Golden ruined his pro prospects with that nonsense.

But I think Richt's offense was supposed to have Ahmmon at one of the WR spots. Obviously Ahmmon was a generational talent but that must've been what Richt was banking on when he came here. He requires his guys to out athlete the other team too much.

I never saw one of our guys running wide open, no coverage busts, no confusion... It was always just I'm better than you and my coach makes me prove it every play.

Dunno what he had specifically envisioned for our offense but this is a snapshot of him and Jr. hard at work coming up with the game plan

Enos is night and day from richt. He was successful at Arkansas with way less talent than we recruit annually. Not ready to crown him or anything like that but I am 100 percent positive that the offense will improve
I'd agree. Short term he'd have an impact just on play calling and breaking tendencies. But long term, it's a question of how long it will take to install his offense. Sometimes it takes a while to break bad habits and operate in a fluid and natural manner. And non of our QBs have a history of taking the ball behind center. Hopefully, it starts clicking the last half of the season. We may surprise some people heading into December.

That team had one of the best O lines in UM history. NFL quality receivers and an all time great running back. Morris was good but limited. He'd throw a perfect dart 30 yards downfield and then hit Duke's ankles on a screen pass the next play.

this.

that kid had skills, and would have done very well as a full time starter. EVERY time he got live rep he showed up to play.

feel very bad for him, but it shows what a di*k (and a lousy coach) Golden was.

I always thought being thrown out there so fast hurt Kayaa’s development.

He wasn’t Peyton Manning or a ridiculous athlete.

I think he would have had better poise if he would have been brought along more slowly.

Ryan had starting experience and worked like an animal to recover from the injury.

I always felt he should have gotten the start once the season started. If he was bad and needed replacement, it was that much more time for Brad to get ready.

It was shameful the way Golden, and then Richt, handled qbs.

Dorsett, Coley, Hurns, Walford, Duke...****. We were absolutely loaded with NFL-caliber skill guys that year on offense, and our OL also had several pros. F*cking Dorito torpedoed that whole season, smh.

The offense did improve, but you wouldn’t know it from reading CIS right now.

Richts offense worked well at Georgia in the early days due to his overwhelming talent advantage especially on the oline. His offense was literally designed to out athlete you on the field nothing innovative or cutting edge about it

This is why I suspected we would see more of the same from Enos.
