Is this what Richt's offense was supposed to look like ?

It's stunning, beyond belief actually, the way this program has worked against itself.

We couldn't get two sides of the ball to function competently at once.

We either had a respectable offense and NoD/Golden's defenses, or, Manny's defenses and Richts Tecmo Bowl playbook.

Please Enos. Please.
It would be nice to see the Offense and Defense balance eachother out.. Miami has always had talent NO MATTER what the stars show, it's just time to get a Defensive and Offensive staff on the same page and then we will see a Miami team "we all will enjoy"...

What made this offense work some because it had alot of players from coach shannon's best recruitining class and that was his 2010 recruiting class, why, because it was the most physical class. I stated that not long after that class signed, i always thought it as ridiculous that that 2008 recruiting class was ranked #1, with a bunch of widereceivers and linebackers in it, was always comical to me, but was a prime example of how alot of these nerd recruiting sites dont know a dam thing about football!

Back in “08 we needed a bunch of LBs and WRs so idek how you’d consider that class “comical”. Based on the way rankings work That class was deserving of the number 1 spot. What hurt that class the most was the absolute flop in classes after. 09 and 10 were terrible

I was thinking the same while watching the highlight. That offense has 3 NFL WR, NFL TE, NFL RB, NFL QB and a couple NFL lineman.

The defense was fat and slow and played patty cake with the other teams.

Last couple years we had dominant defense yet we had Rosier, Richt and baby Richt running the show.

Richts offense worked well at Georgia in the early days due to his overwhelming talent advantage especially on the oline. His offense was literally designed to out athlete you on the field nothing innovative or cutting edge about it

Good thing we got Saban's OC apparent. Bama never relies on athletes to win.

I don't understand why richt brought in the oregon guy to learn his offense if all he was gonna do is scrap it and go back to his own bread and butter

Still think Stephen Morris should have been rated higher as a potential NFL QB coming out of college. Don't see why he didn't have a mid round grade. What do you guys think? Isn't footwork one of the more correctable traits?

Also that video reminded me how physically weak Stacey Coley was; underrated route runner though.

Was just thinking that!

It might be the beer talking, but this thread makes me realize how bad we've sucked for the last 15 years.
