Reed - best overall player in the nation in 01
McKinnie - best LT in the nation in 01
Rumph - top CB
Gonzalez - all-american 3 year starter
Bibla - stud 3 year starter at RG
Campbell - very underrated, would've had a long NFL career imo
Lewis - playmaking, super solid strong safety
Fitzgerald - dynamite nickel corner
Davenport - most versatile player on the team arguably
Jones - Most accomplished track/football athlete in UM history
Williams - played a lot as the 2nd TE next to Shockey, ahead of Winslow
Puckett - key backup OL

The 1992 class with Torretta, Barrow, Smith, Armstead, McNeil, Thomas, Copeland and Cristobal would have an argument. 2 rings and a 2nd undefeated reg season w a lost title game. 1990 season was a #3 finish and bowl blow out.

I'm sure there's classes from 85-92 that were just as good.

2000 deserves a mention

7 Al Blades DB 6-2 205 Sr. Plantation, FL (Plantation)
24 Delvin Brown FS 6-0 210 Sr. Miami, FL (Carol City HS)

21 James Jackson RB 5-11 215 Sr. Belle Glade, FL (Fork Union Military) (Glades Central)
84 Andre King WR 6-0 200 Sr. Ft. Lauderdale, FL (Stranahan )
79 Greg Laffere OL 6-5 305 Sr. Bayehor, KS (Butler C.C.) (Bayehore-Linwood HS)
92 Damione Lewis DT 6-3 295 Sr. Sulphur Springs, TX (Sulphur Springs HS)
35 Will McPartland FB 6-0 230 Sr. Scranton, PA (Scranton Prep)
86 Ivan Mercer TE 6-7 245 Sr. Antelope, CA (Orange Coast J.C.) (Oakmont)

That's a great pic, except for Coker. Can you smudge him out, rok?

I'm not proficient at cropping photos or photoshops. So what I usually do instead is smear some paint or a permanent marker wherever I see something I don't like on my computer screen. Works every time.

Should be 5 straight years in the AP top 2 but they got voted 3rd in the AP even after demolishing Texas in the Cotton Bowl. smh

if those boys in 03 would of stayed one more year, they would have an argument too...but thats playing the what if game....i agree, that 01 team may be the best, but that 2000 is my favorite
