That cannot be right. We had AAs in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.

The explanation for our historical LACK of top level talent is a complex one. Terrible coaching, terrible evaluations, terrible S&C, terrible culture.

How much more obvious can it possibly be that top level talent has been sorely lacking at UM the past 15 years?

How can this still be a debate?

Ed Reed & Sean Taylor are hands down the 2 greatest Safeties ever in the history of the game, college or pro.

But then you add on Bennie Blades, Al Blades, Antrel Rolle, Brandon Meriweather, Kenny Phillips, Tremaine Mack, Darryl Williams, Bubba McDowell etc, I can't think of any other school that had a stronger group of Safeties than we had in the glory years.

There's a strong case to be made at LB & RB too, if we're just talking college.

Got a good group of pantheon receivers and TEs too. When I was young we were also undoubtedly QBU. Gave away how old I am with that last one.

One of my all-time favorite Canes. I was at the Arizona game when that dirty cheap-shot artist robbed him of what I assume would've been a successful NFL career. I wanted to kick that hairy-shouldered ****'s ***!!! Medearis was a BEAST!!!

8 Forced Fumbles

2 TDs

All by the age of 24.

Im going to assume w more NFL S&C, more NFL IQ, he finishes his career in the discussion of all time greats. I believe if you ask any unbiased sports media personnel, 99% of them would say the same thing. Again, teams r still looking for the next ST26, a 6’3 230lb S running a 4.5 and a 40 inch vertical that has a great football IQ.

He was on track to be a HOF, one of the greatest ever. But, tragically, he isn't one of the greatest. And your stats for him are incorrect.
