Got a good group of pantheon receivers and TEs too. When I was young we were also undoubtedly QBU. Gave away how old I am with that last one.Safety as well.
Ed Reed & Sean Taylor are hands down the 2 greatest Safeties ever in the history of the game, college or pro.
But then you add on Bennie Blades, Al Blades, Antrel Rolle, Brandon Meriweather, Kenny Phillips, Tremaine Mack, Darryl Williams, Bubba McDowell etc, I can't think of any other school that had a stronger group of Safeties than we had in the glory years.
There's a strong case to be made at LB & RB too, if we're just talking college.
Best position group, imo, is UM safety: Reed, Taylor, Blades, D. Dub, Burgess Owens, Marion, KP, Meriweather et al.
ILB at Miami is Lewis, Morgan, Barrow, Vilma, Brophy, Beason, Clark, Spence, Perryman
Can we please stop living in the past. Thanks.
You obviously didn’t see D Dub. That’s D for Daryl. Dub for W for Williams.I see the et al, but my man D Williams needs to be mentioned among great Cane safeties.
Go Canes!
One of my all-time favorite Canes. I was at the Arizona game when that dirty cheap-shot artist robbed him of what I assume would've been a successful NFL career. I wanted to kick that hairy-shouldered ****'s ***!!! Medearis was a BEAST!!!You probably shouldn't forget about Rusty Medearis if you are talking about entire DL. 4 sacks vs Nebraska in the 1992 Orange Bowl
We are officially Notre Dame fans
All we have left to hang onto is the past. All those players named played at Miami 15, 20, 30, 35 years ago
Sean Taylor is not one of the greats safeties of all time in the pros.
It was Muhammed El-Mashtub or something like that. One of my all-time favorite Canes. I was at the Arizona game when that dirty cheap-shot artist robbed him of what I assume would've been a successful NFL career. I wanted to kick that hairy-shouldered ****'s ***!!! Medearis was a BEAST!!!
Hicham El-Mashtoub. I could live to be 150 and I'll never forget that POS's name...It was Muhammed El-Mashtub or something like that.
You forgot Damione Lewis...for any position in the history of college football? Look at those DT
I’m probably forgetting someone
Hendricks
Lang
Holmes
Campbell
Stubbs
Patrick
Kriein
Brown
Kennedy
Maryland
Sapp

On track to be.
3 1/2 yr career:
2x Pro Bowl
1st Team All Pro (1)
299 tackles
8 Forced Fumbles
12 ints
2 TDs
All by the age of 24.
Im going to assume w more NFL S&C, more NFL IQ, he finishes his career in the discussion of all time greats. I believe if you ask any unbiased sports media personnel, 99% of them would say the same thing. Again, teams r still looking for the next ST26, a 6’3 230lb S running a 4.5 and a 40 inch vertical that has a great football IQ.
If current is what you need there's a sprawling covid-19 section just for you. EnjoyCan we please stop living in the past. Thanks.
