At this point the season is a wrap. We’re once again a national embarrassment.

I think it’s time to play the true freshman and start from the bottom up. A full rebuild is what it’s gonna take.

i sure hope so. we haven't had a rushing touchdown in 12 quarters of football.

oh and we havent had a rushing touchdown all year on a power 5 team. NOT 1 ALL YEAR!

I recall wondering why Butch kept running Janes Jackson up the middle without progress. I hope this really is 97 again.

97 vs FSU James Jackson straight up the middle… Butch was just trying to run the clock out at that point so Bowden couldn’t run the score up anymore.
 
Was 97 the year of the blocked punt against West Virginia, **** I'm getting old I guess.

No. Because Butch DAW GAWD had 2 years to recruit his roster prior. Granted he was handcuffed by sanctions, but he was able to get at least some of "his" athletes...

Butch's recruiting results in the 90s were probably without a doubt the best ever !

Covington was out with a collapsed lung and Clement was playing with a separated non-throwing shoulder. Miami was hamstrung at quarterback for that one until #3 blocked it and #2 ran it in for a score for the 10-7 win.
