- Folden still thinks....he is a good CEO
- no coaching changes
- we are limping our way down the stretch of recruiting
- admin still blind even after a U 30 for 30 part 2
- do we have a football team or is this officially the Ivy League of the south

What gives ?

Brad kaaya... end thread

I will give you brad but is there hopes for this football program or are we waiting another
Year for a president and AD that wants to turn this thing quickly

This is what the majority of the fan base (INCLUDING YOU) doesn't get.

One competent coach could change this in one season. You think the coastal is suddenly loading up with great coaches and elite talent.

Beamer, London, Johnson, Fedora (and that potential off-the-field mess), Chryst and Cutcliffe are all coming back in 2015 (maybe not Fedora).

Those 5 schools are still all running far behind in talent/recruiting as well. The other thing to note, we're out recruiting all of the teams with a coach who isn't that good at it.

I don't understand why this is difficult to understand. The only thing holding us back is ourselves.

Preach!

Pinning hopes on Kaaya at this point is premature. I don't think he's shown enough in the big moments, like the rest of Al's players, except Bush.

I agree about Coach L. I look forward to basketball more than football. I see an upward trajectory. Football is in the mud for the forseeable future.

The thing is that we aren't even close to being the Ivy League of the South. Sure the school has stepped its game up and become a respectable 1st tier institution but we aren't elite. There six schools with a higher ranking then us in our own conference, that doesn't even include ND coming in. You did say the south though, but even then we arent Duke or Vandy or UNC or Emory and so forth. It's the part that kills me, we talk about academics this and that but we aren't all that great there.

Some guy that goes by"Bobbydigius"commenting on Ivy League schools and elite schools......Will wonders never end!

Shalala is leaving...that's about the only good news in the short term.

When Golden leaves it could finally get the dominoes falling in the right direction.
