Is there anyone out there that doesnt think the Canes can win this thing?

First things First. Beat A&M at Kyle Field. That's a tall order, but it can be done.

Only move on to Taint when you are done with A&M.

To me outside of Ohio State, Indiana and maybe Georgia we are one of the best teams in the playoff. I could definitely see us make a run but winning 4 highly competitive games in a row will be difficult.
I think UGA is up there based on rep and SEC bias alone. They can be beat. They have more offensive issues than we do. They ran Beck off but he's better than Stockton. Taint and Indiana are clearly the 2 best teams and even they have flaws. TT is similar to UGA. I think their defense is better than UGA but they really haven't been tested by a team with top talent.

Are we allowed to keep it real?

We have a chance vs anyone but Ohio State and Indiana a very good football teams who have been very consistent all year. Can’t say the same for Miami. Do with that as you please. Wipe the *** with it even.

I said it from after the Florida game. this team is as good as anyone. Now they have the chance. the easiest things in sports is to lose and Miami did all those things to lose against loserville and SMU but this team is good, good as anyone.

We have the best lines of any team left. We have no real weaknesses. Just play good football and we have a chance. Don't do that and we'll lose. I have watched enough teams play this year to say that when Miami is playing their best ball, they look like the best team in the country. They look like the most complete team in the country. We just need to show up and play our best.
We certainly have a weakness and thats lack of explosiveness and speed on the outside. We haven't beaten a team deep on a 9 route all year. This is still a mostly short to barely intermediate offense thats based on yac with only one good wr. Even that wr Toney is a yac monster that really doesnt run by any one vertically. This O can be compressed by defenses like Ville did. Load up the box and dare us to throw a ball deeper than the 20 yd force field this passing O operates in.

On the flip side we will see 3 wrs on TAMU that are really a threat..one missed tackle...no help over top of craver or the freshman speedster its 6. No trippin over feet trying to make a move or being caught on an angle. Those wrs make big plays that can change games quickly.

Man I’m calling it right now. We are going to dog walk these dudes.

I expect multiple injuries from their offensive side of the ball due to the physicality of our defense.

They struggled for 3 qtrs against the gators, struggled against Arkansas, struggled against South Carolina.

Their best win on the season is the same as ours, and they gave up 40 points doing it.

34-24 Canes.

I'm almost having a hard time seeing them lose. The O and D line will be the difference. The way the defense has been playing all year showed me they are built for this moment. A few hiccups in games they should have won, but the last 4 games were unlike anything we have seen in YEARS! I am picturing Mario with that trophy over his head in January. Will it into existence. LETS GO CANES!!!! :neonu:

Well, as Saban said, "Defense travels," which is a great thing for us, especially if we can get anything out of K. Scott. Our offense must have their best game by a mile. TAMU will hit some explosive plays, we can't counter that by tightening up. Play loose.
