Is there any way these softies recover in time for Clemsum?

Tough loss, didn't see that one coming. But man, how could you not be mentally ready to play? It's easy to point out one or two guys, but there were breakdowns in all phases of the game. Are there any real leaders in the locker room who are going to get in other guy's faces and hold them accountable? I thought that winning some of those close games would have produced a mental toughness, but it didn't. I'm not one to look for moral victories in losses, but hopefully this will be a wake up call that this team needed.

This is not a coaching problem. The players need to solve this in the locker room. The real leaders need to step up and pull this team together, now is not the time to start pointing fingers. I believe there is enough talent to get it done, but mentally are there enough savages to pull the weak ones along. I'm not sure at this point.

Dude stfu the only softy on here is you starting a ghey *** thread like this. Stop your moping yes they had a let down game, they still went 10-1 in the regular season and will be well prepared to play in the ACC ship next week. It s a young team and they play up and down to their competition clearly. Next week will be up. One L and you turn into a massive panic pu*** along with half the fan base.

We can only hope they'll be ready to play, remember last year?

guys have been playing 10 weeks in a row with no rest, came in on a short week on a day after a holiday against a team with nothing to lose and still had a chance to win if not for erratic QB play we had guys running wide open all day. they're not soft though by any means

Was the sun in their eyes also? How man rushing yards did we have? The o line is soft. Like it or not.

MAAAAAAANNNNN, I gotta agree. There needs to be some guys who are not afraid to get into the faces of other guys! One sideline issue I'll ever forget.....Gavin Hardin(RIP) against FSU years ago walked up and down the sideline yelling and screaming at everybody with tears flowing down his face. He did all this while he was injured and out for the year. After his emotional call out, Miami came back and made a game out of it. We need more of those guys!

they are horrible at short yardage run blocking but pretty good pass protectors, one unit having that issue doesnt mean the entire team is soft

why don't you get your soft keyboard a$$ out on the practice field for 12 weeks straight and see how you are.. can only hope one of these softies get a chance to meet you some where there isnt a keyboard to hide behind,,

Lame a$$ post.

Only limp wristed ******** surfers like you could appreciate the softness of yesterdays game.

Bottom line, for whatever reason, we were unprepared, unmotivated and lacked fire across all teams (D,O and ST). We got our ****s kicked, period. We bring that same ish next week and we will get curb stomped, I have no doubt. I also believe we can step up and win that game if our leaders step up. This is un-chartered waters for any one on this team. We need leadership on the field and on the sideline. Even after that loss, we still have a good shot, if we get it done next Sat. Leaders...step and lead. Players follow and coaches, coach your ****s off this week!!!!
LET"S GO CANES!!!!

They will get no love this week. That will help a lot. This team has played its beat against the best, they are not soft.

The problem was NOT MENTAL, it was PHYSICAL. The team had NO gas left in the tank. 11 or 12 weeks in a row is impossible with our depth. They were just freaking tired.... Unfortunately, we get NO break again before Clemson.

Lame a$$ excuse. Who made the schedule?

A natural disaster did

Anyone calling this team soft should get band.

Ignorant fanboy response.

So who played with swag yesterday?

Was anybody mad or upset? Besides a coach, did any body get into someone's face? Any screaming? Cussing? Did a fight almost breakout? Were players separated, either on the sideline or on the field against Pitt? Do you think Brown, Sapp, or Lewis would have put up with that bs?

Or does a team with swag have a "leader" who admits he was just going through the motions. F that! That's not Miami football!

I have to believe this team will be pumped and ready to roll on Saturday. I’m sure the media narrative will be that Miami was a fraud, etc etc, and that will be just fine.

Clemson is good, no doubt about it. Their DL is nasty. But the beautiful thing about college football, especially this year, is there are no dominant teams. They can be had, and this team has to realize what they are playing for now.

If we came in undefeated and #1 , there would be a ton of pressure on these guys...we’ll be coming in with zero pressure now.

We’ll be ready to play.

It was more than just one unit or one person. Did you hear Brock Huard say that the running backs had to be their own blockers, right after he said Miami had one of the worst third down conversation rates. He was saying the line sucked and the running back couldn't break tackles. The qb play spoke for itself. And special teams couldn't flip the field position.

It was one game, but the effort when you know what's on the line was complete bs.
