Let me make it easy for you.
For people who are not fans of the U....the chain if you are not winning is irrelevant....no case need to be made it is a fact.
10-0 chain memorabilia was back ordered, the talk of College Gameday ..........7-6.....not too much, the discussion is about the design, and merchandise is reduced....does that tell you anything? .

Keep the original as the tradition--should grow into a Hurricane talisman of reverence, awe.

Agreed. I like the original chain. The "U". Nothing is more iconic or represents the program more than the "U".

Bama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma, four teams in playoffs, did not need chains to inspire their players. We lost 10 games past 2 years. Chain is turning into a “gimmick”. Teams that have beat us during past 2 years laugh at chain hype.

This cant get too corny. 4 total chains, one for each year of player eligibility. This way a player has a chance at something new each year but it dosnt get out of hand.

I like the 305 idea, but would also love a giant Orange Bowl charm. Think how awesome that would be.

Also, no touchdown chain. This need to stay unique enough to maintain the cool factor.

Scoring a touchdown puts 6 points on the board, which should be enough to get anyone hyped up. Add a touchdown gimmick and the entire thing starts to get lame real quick.
