I’m as excited as the next guy about our basketball teams trajectory…. But what are we back to?

Actually, we attained new heights this year. Going back would be bad.

I'm really optimistic about this year's basketball team. I think we have a team capable of taking us to our first Final Four. Pack and Omier were huge additions to this team, along with Wong and Miller returning for another year.

Concerns:
- Pack and Wong are a top 3 guard combo in all of CBB, but Wong has to be more consistent.
- Omier is an animal, but he's coming from the Sun Belt to the ACC, so we'll have to see how well he makes that transition
- Will we have a reliable bench? We have promising freshman/sophomores along with a healthy Harlond Beverly
- Do we have another starter that can consistently hit 3's outside of Nijel Pack? Wong and Miller are the best candidates. Walker is less likely, but capable

Back to what? For the first time in it’s history, the basketball program made it to the Elite 8. A more fitting headline would’ve read, “Is The U here to stay?”
