Is the run game all but extinct in modern American football

Ironically you ran the ball to set up the throw now it’s the opposite but you rarely get the runs you need and go right back to the pass. Now all you self righteous indignant creeps don’t get the concept that the length size and speed of the modern football player is a logical answer to this but your so lost in your simple minded thinking that to me a lot of you are pathetically incapable of understanding a very basic concept. 😊🫠🙌❤️
Dude, you're dumb asf.
And pause on the length and size, weren't need to know what you like.

Last year there wasn't a single team who ran the ball more than they passed it. But even the most pass heavy teams still ran it 38-33 % of the time so no it is not extinct lol

In the NFL.

In college, most teams still run the ball more often

Pats used the short passing game throughout there dynasty
Yep and they’re the ones to really abuse the middle of the field. With all the rules being slanted to the O the middle of the field is literally stealing in todays football. I heard Steve Young talking years ago and he said Brady told him “ it’s so easy now”. Young was like “with with these rules and the middle of the field I’d completed 80 percent of my passes”. Which isn’t crazy , he stayed hovering around the 70 percent range in his prime and that’s when you could hold , grab and pretty much murder wr’s and qb’s for that matter.
