Ok i have watched their last 4 games they are set up to really make this a rough game for us. They run a ton of short routes and get the ball out of Reeds hands quickly because of the skill guys they have. It giving me PTSD of how we struggled vs Louisville and bell on those super easy drag and hitch routes and their guys are twitchier than Bell. The DL will just need to stay true to their lanes and keep reed in front of them to not allow him to run around and find the break downs in coverage which have been our Achilles heel this year. This will be the hardest run game we have faced having a true rpo threat unlike ND when we knew Carr wouldn't keep it often. Safeties will have to play at their best and not get sucked down to low which I know we struggle with because they are headhunters back there. On offense we can't just pound up the middle, or it will be a long day Texas had success switching it up win inside and out zone runs to keep the DL honest. Their blitzes are schemed really well but if you can block them and have a successful play, they struggle in open space to get the ball carrier on the ground. Texas was bailed out a ton with Arch leaving the pocket and running for first downs something we won't have the pleasure of having. The key will come down to Brockmeyer if I'm being honest their DTs are the best he will have played all year and knowing Elko he will target him in the center just knowing he is the weakest of the 5 luckily he has had a great 4 game stretch he just needs to stay hot and play his best game as a cane on Dec 20. We match well with them, but it will be a slugfest and we can't fall behind early or we will get run out of the stadium.
