Maybe we just need shorter linemen so he can see over them.
 
The new OC and this kid are the two exciting things Manny has pulled off. We need this kid to score 30 plus points a game and give us a shot against Clemson. We cried all year about the QBs, well this is our new one. We got him form OSU, not Louisiana Tech. Urban is a slime but dude recruits talent.

Why are posters in this thread (on a Miami board) mentioning Doug Flutie in a positive light? And why haven’t they been band for it?

We already had an OSU recruit on the team, Jarren Williams, but keep gassin' ya'self up thinking Diaz pulled off some type of coup.

One thing I love about this board is that you can get beat up regardless of what you say. Most days I am catching **** for not whorshiping at the Manny altar. Makes me feel all objective to catch some flack from the other side. That said, I do think the portal can help us balance off the massive disadvantage the bag system leaves us at and Manny does seem to have been ready for it.
 
Hes 5'11 I think but who gives a **** hes the kinda QB talent that is winning heismans right now. Murray, Manziel and Baker were all undersized QB's. Throw in Troy smith & eric couch. History is on Martell's side plus we have the collective talent around him to get it done. I'm a big fan, I was when he was in HS and I'm glad hes on our team now!!

I dont care about his height,...but I'd much rather hear about how many current average QBs that are under 6 feet than to keep hearing about HOF and Heisman winners that are under 6 feet.

It's a woefully weak argument...as the odds are heavily against the kid in question to also prove to be a HOFamer or a Heisman winner as well.

Elite exceptions dont make the rule.
