@The Franchise
Richt has
Delusional Disorder.
"Delusions are fixed beliefs that do not change, even when a person is presented with conflicting evidence."
"
Delusional disorder refers to a condition in which
an individual displays one or more delusions for one month or longer...If a person has delusional disorder,
functioning is generally not impaired and behavior is not obviously odd, with the exception of the delusion. Delusions may seem believable at face value, and
patients may appear normal as long as an outsider does not touch upon their delusional themes."
Our players, assistant coaches, and our reporters are coming up against the underscored. This is probably one of the main sources of friction within our program. No question. And, this disorder is also the likely reason why he makes the hires he makes, in order to continue to protect his delusion.

So, Richt will not change.
We are paying a man $4.1 million a year with a mental health disorder that directly impacts his job function. No question in my mind his unwillingness to change at UGA cost him first his duties as a play caller and later his job. The results here speak for themselves.
Compare our offense to our defense in year three. And, I'm not saying Manny is perfect, but the numbers are what they are.
83rd ranked offense in the country in year three. Rosier career 53.3% completions. 5 star Mark Pope zero receptions.*
