Is Richt going to make any staff changes?

I don’t think he makes any staff changes either. To paraphrase Woody Allen, “football is like a shark, it has to constantly move forward or it will die. And what we have here is a dead shark”.

Needs to , a lot of things not good right now, close on most of the targets we want the most and hire someone like Kendall briles or any other explosive offensive coordinator will be the only way richt can gain any type of support back with our fan base. As it stands not the coaching job this year was terrible on offense and the recruiting is just as bad as it stands now. A lot of our top targets haven’t made decisions yet but will we even close on them? That’s the thing, who knows?

Well most assistants don’t get fired until after the bowl or signing day.

Also, if you have a bad recruiting class like ours you probably wait until signing day so you don’t lose the few recruits you have
It may help to look at it in reverse! Recruits might get excited to see who is hired and jump back on board. And we don’t need to just look at who’s fired to offer a job. Since this is suppose to be the great UM we can go after great upcoming young innovative assistants in good order and offer them! Why continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel!

This freaking offense has been uncertain all year. This style of offense is called the uncertain spread, uncertain RPO, uncertain Clap Pro style...bowl game is irrelevant. Teams were dismissing people right after the season. The big names are most likely off the table and we'd be settling for scraps that will give us the same results. Mork sleepy *** Richt needed to make his move early on. I don't see any changes coming. Like Rosier, he'll wait until the house has almost burnt down before he makes a change.
I don’t agree that we couldn’t get a good oc after the bowl game, what’s more important then when he would hire an oc is that he actually will hire one. I’m not thinking he will but that’s the goal more so then doing it before the bowl game. When Alabama and Ohio state get their coordinatets poached for hc gigs after bowl season do they just settle for scrap coaches at that point, no they identify a great coach and hire them. That needs to be our standard!

No. What has Richt said that would lead you to believe otherwise? He has repeatedly blamed lack of execution as the reason for our poor offense.

If he were, he would have done something by now, right? You don’t let your ****** OL coach and your son continue to go out and recruit and be the target of massive negative recruiting if you aren’t keeping them around, right?

Golden had a slim chance to turn things around at the end of his 3rd year too, and did absolutely nothing. That was the real end of his tenure at Miami even though he lasted another year and a half. Would be pretty amazing if Richt fell victim to the exact same circumstances.
What is the common denominator here? Blake James. Guy will never force a HC to do anything.

Christmas wish: While its all fine to wait till after the bowl game so we can preserve our 2019 class, get a win and all that. But then the BoTs fire the whole Offensive side of coaches, all of them.

I have widened my chimney already for Santa.

Orrrr, hiring a top notch OC would excite recruits and the class is salvaged. Doing nothing is the worst thing we can possibly do. At this point it is what I expect, though.

Only changes that may come will be forced on rick by james blake.

and pinks slips need to handed out on Friday Dec 28th.
