Exactly! Or announce that you are going to the NFL, and THEN have a press conference.

I hope this backfires a la LeBron's "Decision." It probably won't, but I sure hope it does!
 
At least he had a good enough career to warrant a press conference. Nesta on twitter taking a dig at the fans criticizing juniors for leaving early because travis homer is starting. Fully expect nesta to declare this year if he has over 5 tackles this year. Fans cant want to win more than the players, coaches and admin. Not spending a dime until it changes

Poor kids need more attention, I just hope he doesn’t get hurt again in the presser

Its not just this generation. I still remember watching Roethlisberger's announcement. Miami of Ohio even created a website specifically to draw attention to him. Literally said look at me.

alabama has had a press conference for underclassmen declaring, for a long time. they had one for minkah last year. and others the years before that.
 
If people didn't tune in to watch or check out the video clips later online they wouldn't do it. It costs way too much money.

Fans created this. Fans can make it go away.

The fact that it was announced by ESPN that Saban will be in attendance at Tua's press conference tomorrow leads me to believe that he may be returning to Bama. If he was going to turn pro, then don't think that Saban would attend. Jeudy, their Safety, and a linebacker have indicated they are turning pro and they did not get a press conference with Saban present.
 
Please return. As a Fins fan I don’t want him. His noodle arm doesn’t translate to the nfl. Will be a bust. When he went up last year vs a team as good as his look what happened.
 
Having a press conference almost assured that he is announcing he is returning for his senior year.
Several years back a few of our players including Seantrel Henderson had a press conference to announce they were returning

He gone. Saban looked miserable as usual per the highlights I watched. That was the silver lining to this dumb and unnecessary ritual.
